What was so difficult was following the email link to complete the claim and then they email you again to the same address for the confirmation number and if you switch screens you lose your original claim

I purchased additional coverage for 4 TPMS sensors which I ordered through Amazon. The additional coverage plan was $6.99 for the 4 year plan. The item did not last 8 months before they were dead, so I filed a claim with AllState 4 year coverage plan. The claim process was pretty simple and they quickly reimbursed me for my claim......however the reimbursement was approximately $5 less than my purchase price of the defective item. Counting the purchase price of the plan, this still puts me short $12 plus the install fee of the TPMS sensors ($20). I guess getting some money back is better than nothing as the manufacture of the TPMS sensors were not helpful at all. Sensors were supposed to last 5 yrs but didnt last 8 months. Some money is better than nothing, but Allstate should be more detailed in their coverage limit up front when purchasing the plan. All I remember reading was it was a $0 deductible and it would cover the cost or replacement of defective items if needed. ... show more
