    • Works, but not what was advertised
This buffer is advertised as a 1600 watt, but it's 1200 watt in reality. It seems to work fine, but is a little weak and I doubt it's spinning at 3000 rpm on the high setting. My 3 amp Makita orbital sander has more torque than this thing. You can tell that the plastic housing is much larger than it needs to be for the size of the little motor, I guess so you think this is more hefty than it really is? I am going to go ahead and use it to sand and buff out the new paint on a truck cab and I'll update my review after I finish, but I think this maybe a return. If they had said 1200 watts in their listing I wouldn't have ordered it. ... show more

The backplates and polishing pads are all velcro design(hoop and loop) so you can change the pads you want in seconds. This fantastic design helps the pad stick firmly to the backboard so it won't fall off when you crank up the speed.
