It took me and my brother an hour to set up. The instructions were clear on how to set up the bed. I just wish the head board was a bit taller but then again I got a full and not a queen. As far a slide resistance the bed is easy to move after set but it doesn’t slide across the floor which is good . It feels sturdy. The color is a close match to the pictures .
