I just needed a cheap platform frame to get rid of my boxspring. It is holding up well and looks good. It was easy to assemble by myself and fits perfect under my queen mattress. Only thing that I would point out is that the drawers just roll in and out. They do have these screw like hooks to keep them in place though. It's not a problem to use, just want to point it out. What a great product at such an awesome price point. The bed was very easy to construct as in my 5yr old was able to help me with little to no instruction. This bed was frustrating to put together to say the least! It arrived on time and all the pieces were there, however, it did not come with the instructions. Amazon was very helpful in trying to assist me and gave me the contact information for the seller to get those directions sent electronically. The seller was quick to respond and after we got the instructions, the bed was easy to put together and durable. It fits perfectly in my son's room and he really enjoys it. The drawers are deep and hold his clothes without buckling or breaking. They close quietly and they have a securing mechanism to make sure the drawers do not slide around or come out. ... show more

What makes this bed affordable for the features it offers is the insane amount of pieces that you need to put it together. Luckily in my case, we build a lot of furniture, so it was not a problem (but it was a long evening to get it done in order to get to bed!). I will say that all the directions are good, parts are included, and in great condition, and well packaged to help make it easier. Overall it looks great, the storage drawers are quite useful (although there is no track so they roll around quite liberally when they are empty with no weight in them), and it supports the mattress well with the slat base. If you're inclined towards Legos, Erector Sets and tools in general, this is a great product for you...if you're not, best make a friend who is before you start building this! ... show more

Seriously took 2.5 hours for 2 people to do. So far love and it seems sturdy. Will update if a problem comes up with it. It looks nice and I love the storage. Only downside was I wanted the bottom oanels to rest on the floor so I stop dropping things and it going under the bed but it's fine.

The good: Easy enough to assemble with two people (maybe 75 minutes?), much sturdier than many slat-beds I’ve tried in the past. I’m a large person, and this bed has held up well even with multiple people on it. The bad: the drawers are…not really drawers and a pain to secure shut. Constantly tripping over them and losing things that fall off the sides of the bed through the grids of the drawers. Note: the storage drawers are lightweight wire baskets, not full drawers. They don’t carry much heft and I had to fashion liners in order to keep my stored items from getting dusty and dirty from under the bed (especially since the drawers don’t allow for easy under-bed vacuuming.) ... show more

This bed frame was a LOT to set up. It took us 2 hours to get it put together. That's too long to get something like this set up. It's actually a really nice height - i am just over 5 ft and have minimal issues getting up. I love that there is under the bed storage and it's it virtually seamless. Functionality is top notch - i really like where they were headed with this. The material is cheaper than what you'd expect - and it's thin "leather" which surprisingly holds up to a hectic household with kids! Word of advice - get the headboard. This base always seems to MOVE and the mattress covered the bottom drawer making it hard to close it. Tempted to strap the mattress down to prevent it from moving! ... show more
