***Update..... May 7,2017 I just wanted to update my review, these shirts are still one of my favorite finds on Amazon!! I ordered the dark blue (navy) and I am getting ready to order the red! I wanted to address the look of the shirts.... *if* you pull up the sides, push your breasts up and tug the front down & stand like the model this shirt will look like that. I tried it lol. But I like it "normal". It is soft, flows, stretchy, longer in front and in back, perfectly covering my tummy area & bottom. It does cling a bit but it is stretchy enough that it is not tight or binding. Out of the four I have ordered none had a smell. None of them were torn, and have held up extremely well in washing (I wash in cold) and drying. (Yes, I put them in the dryer) Versatile shirt. Can be "dressed" up or down. I don't usually put this much into a review unless I really love it. Some of the other reviews are sad to see because it really is a nice shirt. I have searched and searched for a light but not see through, comfortable but pretty shirt that covers both the front and back, sleeves that don't hand to low, and doesn't look like a tent! It is a fitted type shirt. Sizing may be a bit tricky, again I order the xxx, I am 5'5 about 220~230 (yikes) and still have tummy weight after having my two girls (so round shaped lol) I usually wear a 16/18 in pants or shorts & 18/20 or xl/2xl in t-shirts. Although no fun in putting that info out here, I really appreciate reviews on clothing putting it so I get a better idea of the item. Hope this helps. I did not or do not receive any discounts for my review! Just very happy with this shirt! My absolute favorite new shirt!! I bought the blue first and loved it so much I bought the rose red and black too!! What I love is that it covers my bottom. Looks great with leggings, capris & shorts. I usually wear a 18/20 sometimes a 20/22 in shirts (or a xl to 2xl) this size was perfect, not to big or to tight, even after washing and drying it fit the same, no shrinkage. This is my first time ordering this shirt — looking for a simple staple for my closet. I ordered the wine red in a 3x. For reference, I am 5’5” and 260lbs, hourglass shape. I carry most of my weight in my stomach and butt. I typically wear an 18/20 and a 2x. Based on previous comments, I ordered up a size to ensure it fitting like my regular, fitted 2x. In other words, it does run on the smaller side. But I love the fit of this shirt, very flattering and long. It could easily be worn with leggings and cover both front and bum. The color is pretty true to the picture—a very striking wine red. It is on the flowy side, a little thin, but it will be nice for summer days. The sleeves are nice and long, comes to right above my elbow. It’s well-made, I think. The stitching seems solid. I also like that there is no tag in the neckline, rather it’s on the left-hand seam toward the bottom. However, there were a few things I did not love about this shirt. First of all, it smells so strange upon taking it out of the packaging—something I hope will disappear with washing. Secondly, (and I knew this was a possibility based on previous reviews) there were spots on the shirt. However, they don’t seem like oil spots. They’re white and seem like they might come out with a wash. So I will attempt to spray them with stain remover and wash the shirt. Fingers crossed. For these reasons, I’m giving it 3 stars. For $17, there shouldn’t be any stains or smells. Ultimately, I plan to purchase more colors of this shirt. I understand that it might come smelling something strange or having spots on it. If you’re okay with these things, I say go for it! I highly recommend washing this before wearing though. UPDATE: I washed it after spraying it with stain remover. The stains and smell are gone. The shirt maintained its integrity and sizing. UPDATE (8/10/2020): I have since ordered this shirt in 5 different colors. I love it so much! I have been ordering the 3x but I do find that with wear during the day it gets a little baggy. I still love them—I decided to dry them in the dryer to shrink them up a little. So the last one I ordered, I ordered in a 2x. We shall see how the fit is! Overall I highly recommend—changed my 3 star to a 4 star rating. Still not a five because of the smell that comes with packaging—so strange! But fixable with a laundry cycle!! ... show more

I have gotten several of these shirts in different colors because they’re so flattering. In this particular color/style I’ve sized up a size and I love how it fits. What I mean by “this style” is the kind of heathered look, sheerness and size. While all of the v- neck shirts are similar they are not the same. The more sheer/ heathered ones fit slightly (and I do mean slightly) smaller than the other regular non sheer ones do. They’re more lightweight as well. The actual color of this lake blue 847 shirt is a bit more toned down and slightly darker than advertised. I’m thankful for this as I much more prefer it that way. It’s beautiful and way more flattering. These shirts are my go-to shirts. I’ve never had an issue with the quality. I wash on gentle and dry on low. I’m 5’8 and the length is perfect for leggings. It definitely covers my butt. I absolutely love the looseness, the length and how it’s higher on the sides. This, along with the v- neck really flatters certain areas while hides others. It fits loose but still allows me to have shape. I love it!👍 Personally, I size up one size for the v-neck heathered/ sheer ones like this one but usually go with my normal size for the regular v-neck style. ... show more
