  • Great Performance!
I purchased this pump, to enhance my rainwater collection system. I am absolutely blown away by the performance of this tiny pump. I run garden water off of IBC totes, connected to 150 foot of water hose out to two different gardens. This pump is very quick to both start and stop on demand. The pressure is far above anything I thought, and actually more than I need. It is easy to install, connect, and use. I absolutely recommend this product across the board! I purchased a 30 watt solar panel, and have this pump connected to a deep cycle marine battery, it's great. ... show more

  • Hope it doesn't break or need repair!
I purchased 2 of these pumps, the first on 12/20/20, the second in August of 21. They seem like great pumps to start. In August, the first pump began having an issue where is cycles on and of rapidly, with no reason... no faucet open, no air in lines... I purchased the second one to replace it, intending to have the first warranty repaired. So, I would have a spare for future use if ever needed. Less than 4 months after getting the 2nd, it began having the exact same issue. I called the help-line... the guy told me he would send me a couple of new switches. (So, I must be a qualified repair technician? I work HR.) That was 3 weeks ago. I emailed the reciepts, along with the description of the issue... I get no response. I emailed, asking specifically for a response so I know I'm not being ignored... no response. I've called the help-line 6 times since the first call and can only leave a voicemail. The warranty on the first one expires in less than 10 days. I'm calling the BBB. Update, 3/4/2022: I found someone to put the switches on both pumps, put one back in service. It works, but is still cycling. The guy, Frank H. keeps telling me there must be a leak somewhere and won't honour the warranty. I've had someone crawl around under my house, look for leaks, check the power source for voltage... nothing is wrong. I'd like my money back so I can go with a different company. This pump is faulty and they won't honour their extended warranty. ... show more

  • Great pump
This is a great little pump 12 V. I have it hooked up to a 250 amp battery on a trickle charge solar panel. And I never worry about my water. If aren't you with these folks is unmaturable if I have a? Problem. I have a new pump. And I almost never have a problem except with the pressure switch. And I think they fixed that now. I haven't had to work on my pump Since they came up with a new pressure switch it worked flawlessly ... show more

  • Awesome pump
I've had several pumps like this through the years. This one is quiet, strong and provides a lot of water pressure for my boat deck wash system.

  • Definate QC issues, but don't give up on it
I'm using this as a transfer pump for my RV to transfer water from the 35 gallon transport tank to the RV fresh water tank. (it's easier than moving the RV to the water spout) Removed the pump from the box and installed - piping, electrical, etc. Hey, it's brand new, what could go wrong.... Apply power.... and.... nothing. Fuse, check. Electrical connections, check. I jumped out the pressure switch in case that was faulty, nothing. Checked the current draw with an ammeter, zero amps. The pump motor was DOA. I did a return/replace. New pump arrived in 2 days (thank you Amazon delivery crew). I took it out of the box and immediately tested it. It's working. NOW it will get installed. ---- Like any product, you're going to have a few duds off of the production line, but looking at the other reviews, it seems that SeaFlo may have a higher failure rate for this pump than what would be considered "normal". Either that, or people only post a review when something isn't right. How many times have you called the service department for anything to tell them that they make a great, trouble free product? ... show more

  • Extremely Quiet.
I cannot speak to the multitude of applications and mounting options...only my own. I replaced an increasingly noisy Pentair variable speed pump with this Seaflo Series 55 in a Country Coach Magna. No changes to plumbing were made except having to adapt the inlet and outlet hoses to mate properly with the pump itself. While comparing the new pump to an obviously failing Pentair would be unfair; I can confirm it is quieter than the later even when it was new....by a LOT.....So much so that the only sound heard inside the coach is a very, very muted hum. No vibrations are felt at all. With water flowing into a sink; there is absolutely no sign the pump is running at all. I do have the benefit of a fairly large expansion tank which I adjusted to 42psi bladder pressure per the Seaflo instructions. To this, some portion of the low noise level must be attributed. There are also soft hoses rather than rigid pipe on the plumbing runs that mate to the pump. No doubt, this helps a bit more. So, if quiet is your goal; this pump along with soft inlet and outlet hoses and an expansion tank set to 42psi, you should find yourself a happy camper. I will update the 4 star rating to 5 if it proves reliable. ... show more
