Great skates. These don’t have a brake, so you’ll want to learn how to stop before going too far! Otherwise very good skates. Much more like a hockey ice skate. None of those uncomfortable plastic straps either.

    • Decent Roller Hockey Skates
Size: Skate Size 11 (Shoe 12-12.5)
These skates look cool and will be great once they are broken in. You have to buy a smaller size if you want them to fit right....for instance, I wear a size 12 shoe and got a size 11 skate, and they fit perfectly. However, the skate is not very wide and hurt my feet really badly after a while. The first time I wore them for about an hour, I was in pretty awful pain in 3 different spots. One of them ended up having the skin completely gone and scabbed over (won't be able to use them again for about a week or so). Going to see if more socks might help, but that won't help the narrowness. I hope that after they "break in", they will feel better. The wheels are satisfactory, but not ready to wear in a Roller Hockey game. I will have to buy new wheels to be "game ready". The wheel bearings are not very good. Going to do some investigation on how to break these in a little faster. ... show more

    • Great beginner skate
Size: Skate Size 7 (Shoe 8-8.5)
I baked these skates before I used them and waited 24hrs which only helped a little to mold to my feet. The were nice and snug and took a few skate sessions to really get them to wear in to my feet especially that bone above my arch. The only hiccup is for size 7 skates they said it would come with 80mm wheels but I received 76mm. Contacted the seller and the were great to quickly send out the proper size wheels. Unfortunately the 80mm wheels did not fit the chassis at all since they were too big so I'm assuming the details are a bit off for the size of skates to wheel size. The skates themselves are great and the bearings need is a bit of oil to really get them rolling smoothly but overall a great skate to start out roller hockey or just to skate in. ... show more

Pretty nice skates for the price! I would highly recommend baking them to get the fit right. Otherwise they'll fit like a brick. And get a good set of wheels to replace the stock as they are on the soft side and you'll chew right through them.

Its like when you learn how to ride a bike, you never forget, had these blades on today in Washington Square Park for a few hours! A little tight but i had 3 pairs of socks on. First time on, they were great. Definitely worth the money.
