The composite boot features reinforced ankle support, and deluxe comfort padding ensures a cushy ride, even when you're skating for hours. The toe stop found on both skates is adjustable, and the metal chassis is lightweight and strong, dampening vibrations with PU cushions and allowing tight turns with quality trucks. Roller Derby skates feature premium wheels. Cruze XR comes equipped with high quality 60mm x 32mm polyurethane wheels which absorb bumps and vibrations. Right out of the box, with clean wheels you can take these to the indoor rink, but these wheels will also roll on sidewalks and smooth pavement outdoors. The silver-5 speed-rated carbon bearings will carry you far and fast. Cruze white is in women's shoe sizes. Men go up 1 size. For example, a man whose shoe is size 8 would choose women's size 9. After spending quite a bit of time researching adult skates for my 12-1/2 yr old daughter. I compared Reidell $70 Chicago Skate $60 & these, Roller Derby $50. The reviews, quality & specs. I ended up choosing these. The quality at this price point beyond comparison. These weigh about 6 lbs vs 8 to 8 1/2 lbs of other name brands. I liked that the wheels are indoor/outdoor hardness & the bearings are closed. The packaging was very nice. Skates were immaculately perfect. You can’t go wrong with these. Her shoe size ranges from 7 to 7-1/2 depending on width & brand. I got her the 8 based on Roller Derby recommendation & reviewer comment. With a thick sock, she loved the size. No pinching & the padding on the tongue really helps. The lighter weight skate was perfect too. She skated a bit inside on tile, the wheels were tight, so I loosened them a bit so they spun freely. She loves them & can’t wait to show them off. This was an early Xmas gift so she can do a school skate event this week. (I totally plan on wrapping them back up on Xmas eve, lol) I will update after she wears them to the rink & gives me her full review. I don’t think there will be any problems, beyond adjusting the wheels & trucks to suit her needs. I can totally see her wearing these throughout her teens. Might even get her a good set of outside wheels & another set dedicated for indoor, later on. I’ve been quad skating since the 70’s & my 1st skates had metal wheels! I highly recommend these as a great 1st real adult skate & as a pair for a experienced skater. I’m thinking of replacing my 2nd hand riedells with a brand new pair of these. ... show more

I recently purchased these and they are a decent beginner skate. I bought them primarily for outdoor. If I could return them I would and then purchase a higher quality. Upon further research after 2 outings I realized I needed to upgrade the wheels, bearings, and toe stop. I’m already halfway through my one toe stop and the wheels aren’t very comfortable over cracks. If you just want these for your kid or a party go for it. The price is decent enough for the quality. However if you want to spend a lot of time outdoors you’ll have to spend at least another $80 to truly enjoy them. You might as well spend the money on a higher quality skate like the Beach Bunny or Moxi. ... show more

Ordered these skates with Amazon Prime for a halloween costume a few days ago and got them early!!! So so so satisfied. Got my normal shoe size (women’s 10) and they fit perfectly. Look exactly like the pictures. They roll really easy although I’ve only used them indoors so far. They’re sooo cute and rise about an inch or two above the ankle. In love!!!! ... show more

I love these skates! They are very durable, but not too heavy. They roll super smoothly and feel comfortable. I am a 7-7.5 boot/shoe and size 8 skates fit perfectly with thicker socks.
