Straight out of the box, I'm impressed with the fit of the medium size – it sits well on my frame (I'm 5'7" and 175 lbs). The cut is just right, and I appreciate the initial comfort. However, I do have some concerns about potential shrinkage after washing. Only time will reveal the true impact on the shirt's size and fit. Despite my reservations about washing, I'm contemplating purchasing a second shirt. I'm considering sizing up to a large this time, but I'll make that decision post-wash. Great shirt nice and warm but not to thick or heavy. Was a little stiff at first but after one wash it softened right up. I’m 6’2 and 190 lbs with wide shoulders it’s very hard to find shirts long enough for me and this one is almost perfect. They do run a tad big but I’m kinda of an in between size XL is a touch to big and large is to small in the shoulders and shorter in length. But I don’t mind having it be a little bigger as I wear these for work. ... show more

These are awesome shirts. The fiber and material wear like iron. They run small. I wear a 5x in everything in these shirts i have to wear a 7x to be comfortable and be able to move around.

    • Nicely dyed, light to medium weight flannel shirt

I am actually having a bit of a laugh. In the ad, they list the material as "thick" but when it arrives to your home and you rate the shirt on amazon, they want you to rate how lightweight it is. Yep for a so-called "thick" fabric, it earns 5 stars for being lightweight. Contrary to the listing, this is NOT a thick flannel shirt, but it does qualify as a well-made, medium-weight flannel. I also own an Amazon Basics flannel shirt and they weigh almost the same, about 10 oz. It's not meant for Canadian weather, but on the Northeast coast, where many winter days are in the 30s and occasionally in the 40s (Fahrenheit), it's more than fine. The shirt is soft, well-dyed and has nice pattern. The seams are straight, even, and use a fine stitch thread. It's 100% cotton and it's affordable. I still think it deserves 5 stars as long as you keep a sense of humor and ignore the word "thick" in the shirt's description. BTW, if you do need thick flannel shirt, go to Land's End and order the Blake Shelton x Lands' End Rugged Work Shirt, which does have thick fabric and double total weight (20 oz). ... show more
