I always try my best to fully research anything before purchase. In regards to a massage chair I tried out about 4 different massage chairs at Conns, a couple more expensive ones at Costco and did some pretty extensive research online. I decided to purchase two different massage chairs. I bought the highest rated massage chair with a price point of around $1,500.00 dollars and I decided to purchase this one at around $3,500.00. I was honestly hoping that there wouldn’t be a huge difference between the two models so I could keep the cheaper chair, but man was I wrong. The difference in price is completely and totally worth it! There is no comparison! The comfort level on this chair is much better. The enclosed pod like chair adds another level of comfort also. You can clearly tell that all the materials used in this chair are of higher quality. The massage experience is much much better than the cheaper chair. The chair is a lot easier to control with the touch screen compared to the remote type control on the cheaper chair. The leg/foot portion of the chair is astronomically better than the cheaper chair. The fact that it encloses your entire foot and actually extends on its own is amazing. This chair felt as comfortable as the more expensive $8,000.00 Costco chairs. I love the pre set massage modes but also love how you can manually control the massage and have it pinpoint certain areas. Long story short this chair is amazing. I wanted a massage chair because I have to load heavy baggage sometime in my job, I researched chairs for many months and found that chair had everything the more expensive chairs had at a portion of the cost. I have had the chair for a month every day and could not be more pleased with it. It has several preprogramed massages to choose from, or you can personalize it for your own massage and save the settings, I love the looks and the Bluetooth is a great added feature. I love this massage chair and everyone who visits us gives it a try and wants one. It's loaded with canned programs and it's also very customizable to your needs. This chair has all the latest features including yoga stretch, calf rollers, and heat. Now for the drawbacks, the biggest one is the voice assistant as others have noted. She doesn't come on when you call her but randomly starts answering you when you never give her a command (even when not using the chair). At least you can turn the voice assistant off which is how we leave it, otherwise it feels like someone is spying on you. It's a shame because with your arms in the machine it would be nice to just tell her to do something without having to get your arm free and push a button. The last downside is the programs and intensity levels don't seem to correlate. Gentle cycle is very rough and soothing cycle isn't so much. It would be nice to have different preprogrammed intensity levels correspond to what you would expect, although you can customize it to your liking. I like it rough and my wife likes it light but gentle mode about ran me out of the chair the first time. I must say though that the bottom line is this chair is very relaxing, it gets more muscles than any chair out there and puts me to sleep. The media could not be loaded. We had a cheaper massage chair before this one that was made out of acrylic with super hard rollers. This chair is so much better in many ways and is worth the extra money. I feel like it's a walk to a salon for a massage therapy every time. I love the feeling of my feet and legs being stretched out and the vibration around my knees. We are so happy with this purchase! The assembly was very simple for me and my husband and we were in good enough shape to carry the chair into the house in 3 pieces. The rollers on the chair helped a bit. We are both healthy size and so we fit perfectly and anyone that is overweight might have a bit of a tight squeeze. Highly recommend this massage chair for relaxation, better circulation and even pain management purposes. I would’ve returned except it would’ve been too much of a hassle/cost. You need at least 3 strong people to get the massage chair into your home. Misrepresentation: there is no foot heater Pros: - airbags: an absolute gem. There are airbags in all the right places with the right settings. - foot: the combo of the foot rollers and foot airbags is delightful. - settings: there are 20 automatic 20 min programs. On top of that, there are 3 intensity settings. On top of that again there are manual options both in a simple summary view and on a highly detailed screen - heated shawl: it’s comes with one and the heat works well. It has also 2 different head pillows you can zip on and off for optimal comfort Cons: - back heat: it’s so minimal you barely even notice it - calf rollers: they’re so far back that you barely feel them. It’s a light grazing but not really a massage - back/butt rollers: they are INCREDIBLE on the lower back, hips and butt. However, they are WAY too strong on the shoulder blades. If you’re not using the shoulder airbags, it’s fine because you can then lean forward and away. However if you’re rolling your shoulders and upper bag with the shoulder airbags on, it’s very painful on your shoulder blades even on the gentle setting. I think the rail is not designed properly.
