I have purchased this item on amazon and elsewhere multiple times, and feel no need to use any other product for the same purpose, as this one always works well. I like that you get so much product for the price, so it always lasts me a while even with daily use. This product costs much less than some products that are specifically marketed as cold creams or butters for makeup removal. You don't need to use much at a time to clean your face, even if using for makeup removal, which I do. I like that this product has no added fragrance and is very gentle on the skin. I massage it into my face and rub my lashes with mascara on them between my fingers with this product and it makes removal of all cosmetics much easier than with just water, wipes and/or face wash. I then use moistened baby wipes to remove the product and cosmetics from my skin, following up with a gentle face wash. After using this product, before following up with face wash, my skin feels moisturized but not greasy. My pores are not left feeling clogged and I do not break out from it. I then use a gentle face wash to remove any extra residue and then apply a facial moisturizer. I have been doing this routine for years and have had no issues with it. When using this product, you don't have to apply as much pressure to remove makeup when following up with a wipe or soft cloth, which is why I mentioned that it makes it much easier. This stuff is magic! It's moisturizing and melts the makeup right off, barely any rubbing at all. Just rub the balm between your hands and smother it onto your face, then wipe it off with a cloth. Viola!! A great price too! Do yourself a favor and buy this!

Ive been using Diffren which makes your face very sensitive so having to repeatedly wash my face to remove all my makeup was irritating. I heard of balms but I wasn’t willing to pay the high price. Lo and behold I find this gem. Not only is it affordable and you get A LOT; it works amazing. I apply it to my hands and massage my fast and the make up comes right off. No rough scrubbing. I'm using this as more of a cleansing balm than cleanser so keep that in mind. For 12oz you pay 9ish dollars, most brands give you maybe an ounce or two. So great for the value. Now I will say it is greasy so you do have to scrub good, but if you cleanse after you should be good. No blurriness in eyes though which really surprised me since it was kinda greasy. It also leaves your face feeling soft and not oily! It does remove waterproof, however it does take a minute (I did use more liner than I usually do to test though). It does instantly remove base makeup though, my foundation, blush, etc. was gone is seconds. Overall if you do your makeup often I'd seriously buy this, it make take a bit to scrub but it doesn't leave a residue and if you follow up with a good cleanser it'll work great. I’ve been using this product for about 5-6 months now….will not trade this for any other makeup remover. Hands down has made a huge difference in my facial skin…which is so soft & supple all the time now. I do use a night time moisture on top of this, so I’m sure that’s a contributing factor.
