This CD case was exactly what I was looking for to replace my canvas zippered case. The one I had was overstuffed and would not close. This one is made of hard plastic and has expansion panels around the zipper similar to luggage. I was happy that all my CDs including some with covers fit nicely in this case. I put 52 CDs in it and still have plenty of room to zip it. I like that it is compact enough to fit in the glove compartment and most of all the hot pink color! I had a hard container for 100 disks for years but eventually the metal parts started to fall off and it became harder to use. I picked 50 of my favorites and put them into this new CD HOLDER. The material seemed flimsy but held well. A small portion at the top where the CD was put in tore out to make grasping the CD easier to pull out. Being see-through you could see the label on the CDs without having to pull them out one by one. Time will tell how long it will last compared to a rigid holder but I think 5-10 years of good use is a reasonable expectation. I thought the value for the price was very good. ... show more

Personally I don't know what some people were talking about when they were reviewing this product for me personally it works exactly like it should. I got this item to put my DVDs into it and the DVDs fit perfectly fine yeah I had to remove the little plastic bits in the middle but it's really not that big of a deal that people were making it out to be. For me personally it was actually very smooth and I was able to remove the little plastic bits without any problems and my DVDs fit in the slots smoothly I was able to put them in and I was able to take them out without any problems so for me personally this case works perfectly fine. I even bought more than one of this particular case. I would recommend this case if you want to store your CDs or DVDs and also the front of it is hard so your CDs or DVDs will be protected so for my particular purpose that I bought this case for it works perfectly fine. ... show more
