It's just too bad the product is so carelessly packaged for shipment. Again, one of the containers popped open enroute and I have a mess to clean up. Fortunately it's soap, so cleanup not too difficult. It would be so simple to check that the tops are secure before sending it out. Otherwise this would've been given 5 stars even though it's not really moisturizing. What soap is? It's the nature of soap to break down oil to break the bond with soil. ... show more

First of all, I really appreciate that this body wash is made with plant-based ingredients and is free from harsh chemicals that can irritate sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I am always looking for products that are gentle and nourishing, and this body wash definitely fits the bill. The combination of coconut oil, coffee, and vitamin E in this body wash is amazing. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated, and the light coconut scent is really refreshing and invigorating. Plus, the fact that it comes in a pack is really convenient and makes it easy to stock up on this great product. It all started with food. What I mean is, my education on what kinds of things to avoid buying, and putting in my body, started with food. With age, I have become more concerned with my health, and thanks to social media and the web, I found Bobby Parrish. His help is mostly with food, but also with things like supplements, soap, shampoo, body wash, makeup and etc. You get it. I have been using SebaMed body wash, shampoo and lotion for a few years. I really like the products for several reasons, so I was sad to see that the ratings (EWG skin deep) weren't as good as I would like. After seeing the scores, which really aren't terrible, but could be better, I decided to try some of the products that are considered safer, and this body wash by Alaffia is one of them. Sorry for all the info you weren't looking for. Here's my review. The high praise is real this time! I have definitely made purchases based on great reviews that I regretted buying. This body wash is not one I regret. The scent is mild, it lathers we'll, a little goes a long way, it rinses easily and doesn't dry out my skin. WIN! I will be using it for now on. I was using Dove body wash before purchasing this and read an article about the harmful ingredients in their body wash. I switched to this product and it’s great! Saw this recommended by Bobby Parrish for its lack of harmful ingredients. This is my second time buying it and I like it a lot. Not a huge issue with the scent (or lack thereof). Would buy again
