I have been a professional podcaster for more than a decade, and I take my show on the road from time to time. I have tried many ways to store and carry my cables and equipment, all with their own ups and downs. I finally wanted something big enough to carry the full range of possibilities, without making a tangled mess of things, and for that reason I chose the largest version (26.8"×12.3"×12.3") of this bag after many hours of comparison shopping on Amazon. I am very happy with the results. Purchased for $59 - a 10% coupon, this is - inch for inch - the lowest cost bag on Amazon today. You can pay upwards of $79 for a bag half the size. As soon as you touch it, you know you have not forfeited quality for this bargain price. It feels quite sturdy. The zippers are not flimsy at all, which is often one of the first corners cut on such a thing. The flannel interior meets well the Velcro of the dividers, and I have already in just a couple of days put some significant pressure on this bond without it falling apart. The quality is also visible. This presents as a professional's possession. In addition to the removable dividers, the bag has several static compartments built into it. Many bags I have used over the years had various compartments of this sort, and I have just summed my dissatisfaction with their arrangement up to a difference in taste and requirements. But with this bag, everything just came together so perfectly, it was as if the manufacturer knew what I needed to carry and designed it just for me. I am now met with the temptation to purchase one of the smaller versions, since I do not usually need a bag this large, but my satisfaction with the large bag tells me that I'll not be disappointed with the smaller, and I am glad that this will help me avoid the hassle of comparing them all over again.     • The velcro dividers are useless

The overall bag is great - well designed and well constructed - BUT the internal dividers are completely useless. The dividers themselves have velcro hook on the sides and bottom, but the inner wall of the bag isn't made of velcro loop,,, it's extremely thin flannel, and NOT laminated to the outer bag. Instead, the flannel liner is just hanging loose, attached only at the top, so when you insert the dividers, any movement whatsoever tears the velcro off the flannel. I ended up making a box out of thin plywood and inserted that into the bag to keep the cables separate. ... show more
