Purchased , plugged in added app as I got the Bluetooth version. At first seemed great, settings changes were instant. Didn't blow a lot of air so wouldn't be a lot of wind on the pet is pretty warm to the touch but not harmful, it is a heater after all. Changed Temps to cycle it on amd off a few times and after cycling only a few times I noticed it was not moving air. I could feel radiant heat but no air. Inspected fan and saw the it would move 1/4 in. At a time randomly like it was trying to start . I imagine it is brushless and has been built with bushings amd not bearings so the life time or product is probably not what they say it is. I could blow on the fan to help it amd it would operate until next time and won't start. Heat still operated ..... so does that mean there is no safety limit temp sensor in heater element so it will shut off before it melts down and creates a fire. Have a replacement coming but still thinking I am not going to use this until I talk to the manufacturer and get more info..... got the new one. (Took a old one apart to inspect. ) It does have a high limit switch on the inside top cover I have been using it for a week or so and so far I am pleased with it. The thermostat placement is not going to give you what temp is actually is since heat from the housing is radiating to the stat but after watching it for a week amd seeing what the temp reads during the day and night you can kinda get a feel for it. We love these heaters, but regret getting the Bluetooth version when we bought a 3rd one. Our hope was to be able to monitor the temperature (near the waterer,) remotely, but you still have to basically be on top of the unit to get a connection, and now you need to have remembered your phone, and probably take your gloves off in the cold. These are excellent wall mount heaters for the chicken coop - mount high away from bedding, but stick to the manual control versions for less money and less hassle! ... show more

Did not work for 1 minute i turned it on and fan had some sound smoke and then burned there was big smoke this is dangerous for our pets donot buy this product they are liers its too dangerous and not safe

I was looking for solutions to keep my dog warm in the winter months. I was nervous about this product getting too hot to trust my dog alone with it during the day so I plugged it in on the counter and let it run for 5 minutes. I have been struggling to get it to work properly for months. First response from company was they were going to send a replacement. Didn’t happen so emailed again and they want me to disassemble the unit and send pictures. Warranty states void if altered. Extremely unhappy with this product, It doesn’t read temperature correctly so it constantly shuts off. That on the rare occasion that you get it to work. Bluetooth is useless and app is poor quality and also doesn’t work 90% of the time. Don’t have anything positive to say about this ... show more

The Bluetooth version of this device is useless. The app only works when you are in close proximity of the device. In other words you cannot monitor temperature or modulate temperature unless you are very near the device. Once you are away from the device it no longer works or at a minimum doesn't work correctly. Because it never worked correctly I never got a chance to even see how it would function with regard to heating an area or keeping my pet warm. ... show more

Edit: The vendor did send a new heater very quickly so customer service is good. I will update when I get the new one installed to see if it continues to connect. The heater paired immediately after installation and now refuses to pair, making the unit a paperweight because there is no alternative way to control the temperature.
