I think the price is a little high for what you get, these pipe cleaners aren't the highest quality, they're a little thin/not as full/fluffy as others I've used and the inner wire is a little thin, but when you bend it it still holds its shape. The big thing is there are no instruction on how to make the flower pots, there is a QR code to scan, but it's just annoying to keep having to unlock my phone, play/pause the video.. I just wish I could look at paper instructions. It also doesn't come with little cups/pots to stick the finished flowers in. So it's almost there in terms of quality/ease for me... just needs a few tweaks, it was still fun though. ... show more

The instructions to complete were on YouTube, but otherwise no issues. We just made 1 cactus with plenty of material for more. Used a paper cup for the base, but plastic is probably preferable. Not noted was that the cup should have a good bottom lip on it for the pipe cleaner to clip on to. This project took a bit of time to complete and lots of adult supervisio was needed (6 yo and 4 yo). but a fun craft and very cute when done! ... show more

My daughters were excited when we unpacked this, and immediately started fighting over it. It looks like there should be enough pipe cleaners for everyone. Obviously, there aren't. They got sent to bed early and there is no finished product to photograph, just a pile of pipe cleaners that look like pretty good crafting pipe cleaners and some fuzzy stuff that looks like it's supposed to be attached to whatever framework you make with the pipe-cleaners to make a cool cactus or whatever. This had potential to be a nice kit, the stems are lower quality chenille style and shed fuzz. No instructions other than to go up to a YouTube link - which means you can sit through non-skippable commercials. Sorry - this needs real instructions so you're not dependent on having to watch a video. Plus just two random long hot glue sticks? Weird. Disappointment in a fuzzy pipe stem. ... show more

The instructions are a series of short YouTube videos. I had no trouble following along. You'll want a glue gun. They instructions say that you can melt the glue with a candle. You can, but it's messy. Two glue sticks are included that are the 'mini' width and quite long. They worked find in a low temp glue gun. Wire cutters (or scissors) are also needed, and each pot requires a small paper cup that you cut to size. You'll want some paper and a pen or smaller marker too. It is a fun kit, but I do wish the product description listed other items that were required. They're all common household items, but we didn't have any disposable cups on hand. ... show more
