I have to be honest, I didn't hold really think this little plastic mower would cut my lawn very well, boy was I wrong! This little guy is as powerful as my electric mower that I plug into an an AC power outlet. It is light as a feather and so easy to push around the yard (In my opinion) It feels like it's my 7yr old's toy but it does a great job cutting even thick grass. The attached pics are of Colorado grass, it is thick and tough to cut, not like FL Bahia grass. I went around the yard once without the bag and then around with the bag to pick up the clippings. This size yard used about 25% of the battery (going over it twice) so I would guess it could be 4x this size 2 times and it would still have battery left. So much easier than constantly moving my extension cord with my other mower. Very happy with it so far! I hope this review and pics were helpful. ... show more

I think this is a great product but it is different from traditional mowers. I have always used a gas mower and am currently using a self-propelled mower. This has neither of those features. However, I think I like the tradeoffs. PROS - Great cut: You might be able to see in my picture but the cut was great. I have no complaints about the mulching feature. - Mulching or bag: I used the mulching feature but I like that both options are available. - Extremely lightweight: It really threw me off that this was super lightweight. It makes sense but there was almost this concern that it might not be able to handle the job. Since it works well, then there is only the positive of having a lightweight mower. CONS - Not self-propelled: I wish this feature did exist but it would probably add weight to the mower. However, I'm not too bummed out. Because the mower is so lightweight, I did not feel the need to have the self-propelling feature. It is actually useful to maneuver the mower in a few places since I can pick it up easily and shift it around. This is a new experience for me but I am happy with it. It is safe. It cuts perfectly. It is even more portable since I can easily take off the handle bars. I'd recommend it for a typical house lot. You don't miss the self-propelling much for a smaller lot. ... show more

The mower comes mostly assembled. I bolted in the top bit of the handle and charged the batteries to be ready to mow. Our grass was tall after a week of rain so I thought this would be a good test of the limits of the mower power. The mower did have a few tough spots where it started to bog down, but it powered through in the end. I used the mulching mode and I was quite impressed. The mower is best suited for small lawns and is happier with more frequent mowing. The mower did handle long, wet grass but it did not appear happy about it. The mow-height is easy to adjust and the lightweight makes it easy to handle and maneuver. ... show more
