  • Perfect little coop
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
Easy set up, very simple instructions. I had the coop together in less than an hour. There was some small cosmetic issues from shipping but nothing too bad. It's the perfect size for my 2 bantam girls. I don't think it will last forever but it's the perfect starter coop for our house. It's adorable!

Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
It’s not as big as it looks, but the dimensions are listed. It arrived quickly and went together easily. Love all the openings. Works perfect for our purpose.

  • Flimsy wood and not painted well but great bang for the buck.
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
Good design. All pieces assembled together correctly and lined up perfectly. Only thing off a bit was the ramp on its bracket. Ramp just a bit short to fit in the bracket all the way. Assembly directions were clear and easy to follow and the parts were clearly labeled. I would suggest painting or water/UV sealing before assembly. It has a light coating of spray paint that’s insufficient for most weather and the wood shows through the paint. Panels are 1/8” pine plywood and very thin. I added my own vent holes for more ventilation due to my hot location and the wood was very fragile. Frame is more durable but still pine, and very soft. Roof asphalt sheets were glued on with some kind of adhesive that lost its stickiness when placed in the summer sun and peeled up in some places along the edges, so had to be glued back down with real glue. Nice compact size fits well in my small backyard and it is very light when you use the wheels to move it around. I am a woman and could lift and move it with one hand. All and all, great bang for the buck, even with the extra shipping cost. ... show more

  • Temporary chicken coop for 1 or 2 birds max
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. As you can see from the photos, I have a larger chicken coop with a run right next to this little one I’m reviewing. The larger coop and run are built to house about 10 average size birds comfortably, so you can get an idea of how many birds the little one can hold. We needed a second coop area to house new chicks we’re adding to the flock, and also a space we could use as a chicken hospital if any got sick or hurt. The little coop works for that, but I would not recommend this as your main setup. It’s very small. You can see my 5 year old son standing next to it for size comparison. We’ve been using it for 1 week, and have 2 twelve week old birds in there now. I let them out in a grassy area during the day, because there is just not enough space in that little run for them, especially with a waterer and feeder in there. The little coop was easy to put together, but it’s not very sturdy. We’ve already had to replace the latch on the end door, and the other ones seem like they will wear out quickly. I’m not even sure how durable the hardware cloth is. It feels different than the one we used to attach it to the ground and for our other coop. And some of the screws are already coming out, as you can see in another picture. So here’s the deal… we needed a quick setup and it works for what we needed it to, but this is really only good for a temporary housing situation for maybe 1 or 2 birds. Hopefully this is helpful. ... show more

  • Worth the money.
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
For what I paid for this coop I’m very happy with it. It does have some issues, the nesting box door is cracked, one of the door stoppers is missing, and before winter I will have to fill in several gaps. The wood is very soft (pine I think ). I did waterproof the whole thing before I put it together. I also set it on a base so it’s not directly on the ground, I plan on putting some kind of cover over it so it’s not so directly in the sun as well. For the price and with the few things I have done to it my chickens and I are happy. ... show more

  • Could be a great Coop
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
So the coop overall would probably not be a bad item. I purchased it with little expectations reading the reviews about sturdiness, but it was supposed to be the "in - between". We are building the COOP CASTLE so anyways... Paid $90 for shipping, which was killing me to begin with.. but as first time chicken momma, nobody prepared me on just how quick those little peepers grow... so I wanted the coop somewhat fast. found this one, decent deal, decent reviews. It came in reasonable time, unfortunately, half the press boards were broken, dented or otherwise messed up. Some hardware was bent. We had to reattach some of the wire fencing. Use some of our other wood supplies to make this coop work, as there was no way I was shipping this monster back. I wasn't even going to attempt to squeeze the pieces back in the box, lift it in the car, drag it to UPS.. nope... But I emailed and I did get a response right away. She understood my frustration. The solution: 10% refund? I wasn't going to argue back and forth and set the limit for them on how to ensure a satisfied customer ( 10% refund on a item that ships for $90 is not it) I asked to maybe at least get the shipping cost back? Never mind considering the hassle of extra supplies and time it took us. But that was too much. At the end she asked if 20% was ok, or 25% I told her whatever she feels is right. As this is now day 4 of back and forth emails. In the meantime I had found a similar coop on Walmart's clearing section for less cost and free shipping. Received the item, in pristine condition... ordered a second one, and now a third one for hubbies work yard.. I prefer ordering through Amazon ( ask the drivers LOL) but this was just not it. ... show more

  • This is my first coop!
Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.5"H Color: Grey
It was easy to assemble, just be organized and follow the pictures. My chickens love it. Perfect size. Took me about an hour to assemble with being really organized. It's pretty sturdy when I lift it up, easy to move to clean under there too.
