For the price point, this is a great cabin filter for your car! Also do yourself a favor and don’t have the dealership install this for you! They charge $40-$50 for something that take 5 minutes or less to install. Look up a YouTube video or google it on how to install a cabin filter.

The dealer told me I needed to replace this filter and they were going to charge me over $60 for the filter. I found it on Amazon for a fraction of the cost and replaced it myself. The filter was a perfect fit, and very easy to install.

The replacement is pretty simple, but unless you already know how to do it, I would recommend to ditch the instructions that come with it and search YouTube for “How to Change Subaru Cabin Air Filter”. Pick one for your model, there are many videos that cover this, some are very good. Shipping was little slow, which was unimportant to me. The filter itself seems fine, it fits in and from what I can tell it works. The price is good, the quality of filtration is not something I can easily assess. ... show more
