This helmet set is definitely more than enough protection for airsoft. It does have some spots to attach tacticool toys like flashlights, nods, and things like that. The inside of the helmet is fully padded which thought was a nice touch. Very comfortable and does provide some protection. The goggles fit my large head no problem and have vents along the perimeter to help cut down on fogging. I like the balaclava quite a lot. It is made from a mesh material that allows for moisture to evaporate. Can be worn in warm or cold weather. It comes in a variety of camouflage patterns and looks great. The whole set looks like something from call of duty. The helmet does seem pretty well built and should be able to last a few airsoft seasons. Keep in mind this is not a real military helmet and is not rated as such. It is definitely for airsoft and cosplay purposes. That said, the padding makes it very comfortable and the straps hold it in place well. It looks great. I like it and will recommend it for these purposes. ... show more

Getting into airsoft, so I'm slowly collecting gear. Saw this helmet and I really liked the look, so I figured, why not? I have a 24.5" head, but I figured, I think it would be alright! Weelll... It definitely fits, but it's a snug fit. The chin strap is also pretty tight! Not terribly so, since it has a really great amount of adjustment, but if you have a thick neck or big head (like me), it may not be the best option. So yeah, it doesn't fit perfectly, but that's on me. All that said, the helmet is great, and comes with some awesome accessories! The goggles are spot on and great, and perfect for airsoft. Don't let people tell you can get away with shooting glasses--No way, you want a SEAL on your eye protectors! Anyways, great helmet, just make sure you're not an XL head when you decide to get it! ... show more

This is my first helmet so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, I think this is a good starter set. The helmet seems to be a medium size, and it fits me okay from front to back. However, it is quite loose from side to side. I prefer this because I can add my own padding kit to make it fit better. The helmet itself is hard foam lined under the shell, so it would be better to wear it than not wear it at all. I chose the one with the helmet cover instead of goggles. The cover is pretty decent, and the face cover fits well and keeps dirt and dust out of your nose. All the accessories I tried on it fit well too. This is a very good budget helmet kit. ... show more

Its a really cool looking and fancy bike helmet. This thing is perfect for airsoft and looking cool without spending a ton of coin on it. I wish it had a better chin strap is my only gripe. I have gotten similar products and similarly priced that had the chinstrap with the actual chin pocket vs just a small nylon clip under the chin. The comfort is okay enough but you can add additional padding to snug it up. The strap doesnt have a ton of adjustment but a teen or adult will have no issue getting it to hold on. Overall its a nice pickup at ~$25 for airsofting, or if your kid just wants a really cool looking bike helmet. ... show more

It is pretty obvious that I have entered my second childhood in ordering this airsoft tactical helmet with over-the-glasses goggles and a balaclava. While I would not wear this helmet “hunting”, it certainly would be appropriate for airsoft games. I placed the helmet and accessories on my mannequin’s head and they fit quite well (photos) and they also fit my head. My head is 23-24 inches (58-61 centimeters) in circumference and the mannequin’s head is 22 inches (56 centimeters). I did find that with the balaclava pulled over my nose (photo), the goggles did have a tendency to fog up. Still, I was pleasantly surprised that the goggles did fit over my glasses. I am used to the typical suspension system in a hardhat and found the foam inserts of this helmet a little different and I also miss the ratchet typically found in a hardhat to secure the hardhat to the head. Presumably the foam inserts are common for airsoft (and real?) tactical helmets. The helmet also has several attachment points for things like lights, communications units, etc. PROS • This is a neat looking airsoft tactical helmet with balaclava and goggles. • The chinstrap is adjustable permitting a fairly secure fit. • The helmet has various attachment points for accessories (e.g., light). • The balaclava is comfortable (see CONS). • The goggles fit over at least my eyeglasses. CONS • I found that with the balaclava pulled over my nose, the goggles tended to fog up. • While the helmet fit my head fairly well, I am used to the more secure fit of a hardhat with ratchet suspension and chinstrap. ... show more
