I was kind of hesitant about buying these sticker type stars vs. the plastic ones with the glue dots like I had in my bedroom as a kid over 20 years ago (that are still there on the ceiling of my old bedroom lol), but I found that they stick and glow better than I expected them to! I was worried they might not stick on the ceiling that we recently scraped the “stamped texture” off of, which left the ceiling kind of uneven in spots, but to my surprise they still stuck to it just fine so far! I did use a 3M strip cut into a few pieces to adhere the moon since it’s a little heavier. As far as the glow goes, daily sunlight coming through the windows and the ceiling light helps to charge them, but I also bought a super bright LED flashlight on Amazon that I gifted to my nephew with the stars that he loves to shine on them before bedtime that makes them extremely bright and last all night long. So, I’d highly recommend buying a small LED flashlight to boost the glow effect! I would definitely purchase this set again! ... show more

Love it. Couldn’t have kitchen light off at night because kids were scared of the dark but now I can turn the kitchen light off . Glow stars last at least a few hours by then they are sound asleep. Hint to buyers make sure it’s a flat surface . If you have rigid walls you may need to sand it first then apply stickers. Thank you ... show more

I bought these for my son to use in his space themed room. Him sorting them by size and lining them up is the most autistic thing I have ever seen and I love it. The moon is awesome and there's a great variety of stars and little dots. They have held up really well and I love the soft glow.

    • Disappointing. Realized I need a ceiling light to brighten it up.

My rooms don’t have central installed ceiling lights. I have a very small table lamp on my night stand. This is the only light I have in my dim room. I realized these stickers need direct contact of a bright light for more than 10 minutes for it to stay bright for long enough before you fall asleep. I’ll have to return the stickers. They’re awesome if I put my iPhone flashlight directly on the stars ONE BY ONE, and there’s hundreds, so no thanks, I can’t brighten one star at a time every single night or every time I want to see the stars. I’ll have to return it for this reason. These work marvelous ONLY if you have a bright direct light on it, around or near it to do the work for you right before bedtime and lights turned off. Otherwise you’re in the situation I’m in. Update 01/03/2022: these stickers are durable and long lasting. I DID NOT RETURN these because THEY ARE GREAT!!!! I was excited to get these glow in the dark wall stickers for my son's bedroom to complete his outer space theme but was very disappointed to find out that they hardly glow! We left his bedroom light on for an hour and when we turned the lights off, they barely glowed! Peels off after an hour. Very poor adhesive. Lots and lots of small peices. Too small to use fingers will need tweezers. Only a few good size starts the rest were dots.

These are so neat to have in your kids rooms but we recently took them down because we're moving and the clear film peeled off fine but left behind the actual stencil of the stars. We only had these up for a few months and they were still difficult to take down. If you're wanting to have less issue with them and hearing to the wall whenever you plan to remove them I would stick with the plastic stars. If you never plan on removing them then they are great.
