My wife and I recently traveled on Southwest 737 Max 8, and this belt fit perfectly. It offers more than enough length in addition to the size of the airline’s seatbelt. We also gave the belt a few tugs to ensure it wouldn’t unbuckle and held very well. The only thing I wish is that it was in the same blue color as the Southwest seatbelts.     • BELT RELIEF
My last time flying I was BARELY able to fasten my seatbelt and felt very uncomfortable. I was too embarrassed to ask for an extender so just dealt with it. I purchased this extender after checking which aircraft we would be flying on with Southwest Airlines and I’m SO GLAD I did! I liked that it has its own travel pouch and I had no issues with TSA in my personal bag. I was able to easily buckle it in to the existing seatbelt and then tighten it down to a comfortable fit for me. This would be PERFECT for parents and lap children as well! It has quite a bit of length to it and would also fit those that might perhaps need two seats for themselves. I have only used it on Southwest so I can’t speak to the universal fit but this will definitely forever stay in my personal travel bag!! P.S. this will fit the Southwest Airlines 737-800 or max8 and NOT the 737-700 so be sure to check flight info. Apparently Southwest will be getting new seats and I can’t say whether this extender will work on the newer seats in 2025. It will fit with most every other airline as well as it has 2 different connectors. ... show more

    • Adjustable, improves the travel experience
Some airlines have the extension available; however, you have to ask during the chaos of boarding. Its easier to bring your own and peacefully settle in. I have used the extension in the car to secure a large cabinet we were moving. Worth the investment- just don't forget and leave it behind.

When I received this belt extender, I was worried that it didn't unclip like it should. After looking at the clip several times, I realized that the top has to be pulled all the way past what you think it should be. Once you realize it has to be pulled back that far, it works great!
