I have been using CharJenPro’s foam ear tips for a little over a month, and I am very satisfied with their overall quality and the excellent sound isolation they provide. The ear tips significantly enhance the listening experience by ensuring a secure fit, which improves both comfort and noise isolation. Some users have noted in online reviews that using these ear tips can diminish the effectiveness of the ambient mode on their earbuds. While I agree that there is a slight reduction in the ability to hear external sounds, I have not found this to be an issue in practice. Even with the foam tips, I am still able to clearly understand conversations around me, including whispers, without any major difficulty. In terms of value, I believe the product is worth the price, despite the somewhat humorous irony that one must resort to third-party ear tips to make the earbuds truly comfortable and functional for long-term use. (Thank you, Sony.) One suggestion I would make to CharJenPro is to offer a kit that includes a couple of replacement ear tips at the same price point, especially for customers like myself who don’t require multiple sizes after they have found the one that fits them. This would help reduce the cost for replacements, which can be particularly beneficial given the high shipping fees to international locations, such as Italy. While I’m not sure if this request will be fulfilled, it would certainly add to the product's appeal for international buyers. Edit: I tried to make a purchase through their site and I can confirm, for anyone trying to buy only a single size of their eartips, that you can order them on the site but not here on amazon. So if you are trying to buy multiples of the same size I would recommend to buy them on their site. Shipping on their site was almost the same price, although it took longer to arrive. ... show more

    • Uncomfortable OEM tips? These are the solution!

After being disappointed with the OEM tips provided by Sony on the WF-1000XM5, I immediately went searching for replacements. I quickly determined that I (1) needed earbuds that had a mesh screen to keep gunk from getting into the drivers, since the XM5s do not have a foam insert like previous versions, and (2) wanted silicone as the interface material -- just my personal preference. A lot of other listings for 3rd party tips either didn't have this important shield or were cheaply made and had poor reviews. So then I kept ending up at the listing for these, and though the price is a premium compared to other 3rd party tips, it is well worth it! Compared to the OEM tips, I found these more comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the memory foam core was softer and more pliable than the rigid material used on the OEM tips. The size I chose seals pretty well to the point that I often don't need to turn on ANC when wearing these at the office all day, they do well enough to seal out noise which helps extend my listening sessions. After 8 months of daily use these have held up pretty well. My only gripe is that currently AirFoams does not list there individual sizes on Amazon. Eventually I will need to replace these as they wear down and now that I know my size, I'd prefer not to have to order another "variety pack". However, they currently only offer individual sizes on their website at this time. ... show more

I am a huge fan of the memory foam earbud tips but the downside is that you can't clean them without destroying them I usually use alcohol to clean them and with the memory foam earbuds it just disintegrates the tip. With these earbuds though since they have a silicone casing around them it makes it much easier to clean with a much more premium feel than the foam. Honestly these are some of the best earbud tips I've ever got to use they are super soft and they fit my ear very well unlike the ones that came with my Sony earbuds. They seem very well built and show no signs of deterioration after cleaning with alcohol. They're a little pricey for what they are and I would like to see them go on sale but other than that I have no complaints it has great noise cancellation and they are very easy to install. The earbuds tips that came with my Sony earbuds would occasionally fall out from moving jogging or just vibration. These earbuds on the other hand because of the silicone design on the outside I feel that they stay in my ear much better even when I am moving or exercising. ... show more

The stock ear tips for the Sony WF-1000XM5 are not the most comfortable. These ear tips fix that problem. The memory foam provides a very comfortable fit that really enhances the noise cancelling ability of the XM5s. I can wear these for hours without any discomfort. I love these and will buy more!

I usually use overhead headphone for noise cancellation due to beautiful sounds I experienced on the subway everyday. In the winter this has allowed to keep most of the noise channeling features, super comfortable, and actual keep a my buds in my ears!
