I’ll start by saying I hate mattress shopping. In my experience, if it’s cheap it’s trash and I’m just not willing to spend thousands on a mattress so I’ve always just settled for the best worst option. This mattress is not that. I’ve spent 2 nights on it and trust me when I tell you, I have never slept so comfortably or soundly. This mattress provides firm support but feels so soft and plush at the same time. I have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I always hurt the most when I wake up in the morning. I always wake up multiple times to adjust myself due to pain and pressure points. Not anymore. It’s like this mattress cradles my body and protects all the achy joints. I sleep well and wake feeling great! This charcoal infused foam mattress is very comfortable and the reasonable price tag makes it a real value. Add fast, free shipping to the list of perks and it's definitely a deal worth investing in. Am expecting this bed to last awhile considering the high level of quality. There are many similar foam mattresses for sale on Amazon yet I finally decided on this seller and feel as though I made the right choice. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bed. I built an open frame for it with 2x4's so that the foam can breathe. This mattress has only been out our grandson's bed for a few days but it expanded almost all the way immediately after opening. The very bottom edge of the bed needed more time to expand the last inch but did so during the 48 hours suggested we wait until using. This is my honest review of the Airdown brand 14 Inch Queen Size Memory Foam Mattress. This mattress has destroyed my back and hips! I'm in so much pain I can't stand it! This mattress is THE WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE!!! If I could return it I would! I ordered this queen size mattress for me and my husband and we both are incredibly uncomfortable! I didn't realize in the description, where it says "for back pain" that meant this mattress will give you back pain! I wanted to get something comfy, this mattress is TORTURE!!! I researched for months trying to find the best mattress for me. I decided on this one based largely on the other reviews. Unfortunately, this mattress is much harder than I wanted, it had ZERO EDGE PROTECTION, And the memory foam has memory alright!!! It remembers to lose any support and stay caved in on my side of our bed!!!!!!! My husband hates it too! Neither of us can sleep through the night, and after only a few months of use WE NOW HAVE TO BUY A NEW MATTRESS!!!!!!! I'm 5'7 and weigh 150 pounds. My husband is 6'2 190, so it's not that either of us is causing these problems! In our opinion, THIS MATTRESS IS INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE! It has absolutely no edge support. After a little more than a month, it's already sagging on the edge. I CANNOT recommend this mattress for everyday use, but it would be good for a guest room that only gets very occasional use. The mattress arrived quickly. It was well packaged. It inflated to the full 14 inches very quickly. We let it air out and fully inflate for a week before use. All of these aspects were great. Unfortunately, this mattress is way too big to repackage and return. It came vacuum sealed and obviously we can't do that in order to return, or I would! This seller needs to review Amazon's policies and abide by Amazon's policies with regard to communication with buyers. Unfortunately, this seller has contacted me via my private email trying to get me to ship back the mattress which again I'm not going to do because it's big and heavy! Communicating this way violates Amazon's policies. They also try to "pay" you to return it! It's too big!!! No one can afford to ship a queen size mattress back!!! The mattress is beautiful and we’re putting it in a spare room which is the only reason we’re keeping it. The description said it was “plush firm”. This is not my definition of “plush firm”. It’s very soft and doesn’t offer much support. I would solidly put this in the soft category.
