This was a gift to my 18 year old from his siblings for a going away to college gift (they collected the money between them to purchase). He had seen a video add on it (although I think a “name brand”) and was curious if it would actually work- he’s never been a big fan of drinking water- but wanted to avoid sugary caffeine beverages. It worked! It’s a pretty crazy sensory experience because you know there is no flavor yet your nose tells you there is! The size of the bottle is perfect to go in a day pack or school backpack and it came with a bunch of flavor rings for no additional cost (great value). I bought 2 of these for my sons for school. The flavor things don't really do anything. They smell good but the effect they are supposed to have when you drink from the bottle doesn't really work as advertised. My kids were thrilled with them but now they just use them as a regular water bottle and they work just fine that way as well. ... show more

The bottle that was supposed to be new, arrived with water inside. The inside of the bottle smelled bad. It did not came with the flavor pods. Very bad experience

It came with a ton of sent packs, they were in the bottle, so it took some shaking to get them out. I like the lanyards and what not with the kiddo. makes it super easy to take it to the park or on road trips. It also has a carrying case for a spare scent pack on your venture. The bottle seems to be made from quality materials i question how long the nice finish will last with the kid but other than that i expect it to last a long time. ... show more

So let me go into this saying that the gimmick that makes this thing work is more of an issue to me than anything else in this review. The idea of a scent pod to "flavor" your water is a good one. And has quite a bit of merit to it. But i think there are some execution issues here. The two flavors/scents included with my bottle were cherry cola and watermelon. This is a major problem. First, cherry cola is one of my favorites. But getting the smell without carbonation is at best drinking flat soda. Ick. I tried starting with seltzer water but plain carbonated water has its own taste which isn't being hidden by an actual cherry cola flavor. So now i get a flat soda that's gone off. Bigger ick. Second, i don't know what watermelon smell like specifically because i have never sniffed a watermelon. But the bubblegum-like scent from the ring wasn't very good at triggering a watermelon flavor to my water. I think it honestly confused my senses because i just tasted "not right". I would like to have tried an apple or raspberry flavor or something citrus maybe. I think those would lend themselves to this gimmick quite well. I have already tried those waters that are doped with a tiny bit of the actual flavor chemicals and those seem to work pretty good. Otherwise, i think i will just stick with my water tasting and smelling like water: tasteless and odorless. Afterall, that's why i filter my water so much. As far as the bottle itself, it is well constructed for the most part and seems quite durable. The tolerances on the hinge and latch are well done and work very smoothly. I did have some trouble with the straw but i think that was caused by two things. One, the air vent on the bottle is very tiny and wasn't fully opened. I poked it out with a pin as it is primarily to prevent vacuum lock. Second, the straw and the socket it fits in are both silicone. This is good for cleaning but the fit between them can be difficult. Two soft plastics will tend to bunch up when put together like this creating air gaps. We all know how much fun it is to drink through a straw with a hole in it. I can think of several fixes for this but that is beyond the scope of this review. In summary, i think this concept and this specific bottle might be great for some people. For me it was more of a meh. I am glad i tried it. I am even more glad i didn't spend $60 on a brand name version of this concept. ... show more

I needed to drink more pure water, so I ordered this water bottle with the scented pods. The included pods are all different pleasant scents to encourage water drinking. The water is not flavored, as I first thought. You just smell the scent as you drink the water. It does work to help you drink more water than normal. Very clever idea that truly works! The bottle does hold a good amount too for daily amounts needed. ... show more
