    • Thicker Yet Flexible, Perfect Stickiness
This tape is about 2x thick as regular wrapping/shipping tape, yet is very flexible and has a nice level of stickiness. Stickiness is not too easy to pull off yet not too sticky hard, easy to remove does not affect my stain or frame, yet it holds nicely tight in place. This tape can be used in a variety of applications. I use it to seal my window AC from elements and to keep the bugs out. Also seal around screen door handles where people's nails can poke holes in the screen, works well. I havent tested in cold weather.     • Gets a nice seal for the window
I have a portable air conditioner hooked up with the vent going out the window. I am using it quite regularly. especially as we continue to be blessed with the summer heat. I wanted to keep it there for the rest of the season but could not due to traffic, emergency vehicle sirens, and also the occasional firework show. This has helped in lessening the noise. It gets a very nice seal and helps cover up the biggest problem areas. I hope it continues to stay like this though. Only time will tell. ... show more

    • Not residue free
We don't have central air, so we have 3 portable air conditioners throughout our home. We've used different things each summer, trying to improve the seal around each of these. Previously, we've used vinyl tape, duct tape and packing tape. This year we thought we'd try the tape intended for the job. As far as blocking out the air flow goes, it's no better or worse than any of the tapes we've previously used. For removal, it's middle of the pack. The tape peels off easier than packing tape for sure, but it DOES leave residue. Basically, the tape plastic comes off clean, but the sticky stays on the window. It feels a lot like nano tape, where it takes a lot to lift it up, but then you can kind of pull and peel big chunks at a time. After that it leaves no additional residue that has to be cleaned up with goo gone (like duct tape - trust me, don't use duct tape!). Vinyl tape is the only thing we have used that has truly peeled off cleanly at the end of the summer. So, on the scale, this is slightly less objectionable than packing & duct tape, but is not residue-free. Personally, we'll return to using vinyl tape for future summers. ... show more

    • Exactly what I needed
I have a portable air conditioning unit that goes through the window. I needed something that would seal around where the hose adapter goes in the window. This works perfectly for that. It was very easy to use and exactly what I needed to seal up any cracks.

    • Perfect air conditioner sealing
This tape perfectly lined and sealed my portable air conditioner panel and duct going all the way from the bottom to the top of my slider door, and sealed the gaps on all four sides. Nice and thick to help keep the hot out and the cold in, but I was also able to reposition without causing damage.

    • Great to seal in my AC
I always seal in my AC units to keep out bugs, but never knew about this type of product. It works very well and not unsightly like the other stuff I was using.
