I ordered the Aieve appliance slider for my air fryer. It makes it so much easier to move the slider forward before using it. When it's not in use, one simply shifts it to the back of the counter. It glides back and forth and side to side smoothly. It is made of 20 mm rubber wood and appears to be solid, but the first one I received had a crack in it. My guess is that it had more to do with the lack of padding in the box in which it was delivered than the construction of the slider itself. The customer service response to the faulty product was excellent; a replacement for the broken one was sent within a day or so. They were very responsive. ... show more

So the first thing to know about this product is that it's basically a very nice wooden cutting board with a handle on wheels. I mean I wouldn't cut anything on it because it will probably damage the finish, but it's would, and looks nice for that. And you can get it in various vertical and horizontal formats which is very useful. A number of elements of the construction, however, leave one with some concerns. (And keep in mind, these concerns have not materialized, they just seem likely to me based on observation and initial use). 1. The construction material is actual wood. That would be good and the black finish does look like it seals it pretty well. I would be concerned that wet spillage might cause problems if not attended too quickly. In the same vein, it is possible to scratch the unit and get down to unfinished wood, although it took a bit of effort to do so on the bottom of the piece with a sharp knife.) 2. The wheels are some sort of hard possibly plastic material. They roll quite nicely, but because they are somewhat slick, it is possible to move the platform sideways without meaning to do so. Similarly, because the wheels are a hard slick substance, I have some concern they might cause damage to certain types of countertops. (Again this is an anticipatory concern, that has not manifested itself yet.) Item #2 could certainly be solved by using rubberized wheels either rubber coated or solid rubber like material. Item #1 In somewhat ameliorated by the fact that the finish is pretty solid, and fairly thick and took some work to damage. All in all, not a bad product, but not quite up to the five star level yet. ... show more

I have a big stand mixer that I keep tucked under a corner of my kitchen workspace. I use it frequently, but not every day, so having it out of the way is a good thing. But it is big and heavy, and inconvenient to move. I saw this sliding tray at a great price and ordered. I had measured, and knew it would fit my mixer, and it did. By placing my mixer on this slider, it makes it very easy for me to slide out into place. I roll it onto a small thick towel to prevent any movement while the mixer is being used, and it is darned near perfect. The handle makes it very easy to move in any direction. It is built to hold A LOT of weight! This slider is versatile and I see many uses for it in just my kitchen--let alone the rest of the house. It would be perfect for use in a lower cabinet, for sliding out pots and pans or a small, heavier appliance. I also keep a few rarely-used heavier items (big crock pot, pressure cooker, an older mixer) on the floor under my wire pantry shelves, and putting them on a sliding tray would make them very accessible when needed. The tray is very sturdy and durable, and the wheels are wide and cylindrical, taking up just enough room to enable easy movement. The surface is hard and smooth and very easy to clean with just a wipe. I have ordered another one for my coffee maker--not because it is hard to move, but for convenience! The cost of this item is very low, and anything that makes my life a little easier is OK with me! I recommend this sliding tray without hesitation. It would also make a great gift for anyone who spends time in the kitchen. I see many other uses throughout the house, and Hubby has a couple of items in the garage that would benefit from being easily accessible when needed, but are kept tucked back under a cupboard. ... show more
