I stopped wearing foundation when I was 19 because I didn’t want to spend my youth covering up my skin. Isn’t youthful skin supposed to be so special? So I put on sunscreen and cheerfully let myself forget how to apply foundation. But now I’m 29. And I work in an old building with really bad regulation of temperature and humidity/dryness and god-knows-what in the HVAC system. So I’ve developed dry skin with some red patches (haven’t solved it yet—I’ve tried lots of moisturizers and I’m still looking for the one). Otherwise, I’m very pale and yellow in tone. At worst, I look sallow and gray-green. I got a cheap luminizing primer by ELF to pair with this while I wait for “nicer” stuff in the mail. I don’t have any concealer to wear underneath the foundation right now. My first attempt with this cushion was streaky. I saw one reviewer who said that they will use a foundation brush from now on to avoid streakiness. I didn’t want to. In fact, I decided to try cushion foundation specifically to avoid face brushes. Then I realized that I had put it on wrong. I had patted it across my face almost like I would do with a stippling brush, then swiped as if to blend. And I had just kept patting it. The makeup has a cooling effect, and patting it in feels too nice. It’s addicting. I think it can be easy to overdo i application by mistake. Even though the coverage is light, patting foundation over itself a few times will absolutely give a caked-on look. Swipe first. Next day, I tried again. I pressed the puff into the product, swiped it all over my face first, and then went back over with the puff to pat it down. It looked much better. My bathroom lights are very harsh, and I couldn’t find streaks of foundation on my face. I even applied foundation around and under my eyes, but, to me, the foundation looked fine. It had not settled into a wrinkle or unevenly crumbled in that area. I went back over a red patch a couple of times and got sufficient coverage for me. I didn’t have any concealer on underneath, but the redness was dulled down. I noticed a flakey patch where my nose meets the rest of my face. This foundation is not drying, but it is not moisturizing either. I wouldn’t say it made the flakey patch look any better or any worse. I made peace with it because I haven’t had a chance to pick up a serum or whatever the hell will fix me. Everything looks bad in my bathroom, so all I knew was that my application was even. I applied some brown powder and brighter white powder to account for foundation’s natural tendency to flatten out skin tone, then a cheek tint. I got out to my car to drive to work, and I was very surprised to see my face in the rear view mirror. It looked good! Like I said, I did not have concealer underneath—but the circles around my eyes were very improved, almost gone. I’ll update with how this wears after today, but I’m really pleased right now. EDIT: I noticed some irritation growing over the past few days and realized this has aloe in it. That stuff irritates my skin really badly. :( I assume my layers of primer (as I was experimenting heavily with primers) somewhat held it at bay. I’m bummed because this cushion was everythinggg. As a makeup artist in her 50s, I have tried most foundations over the years and have more recently ventured into discovering Korean skincare and makeup. I have never been a big fan of creamy foundations, but I give this Korean foundation high marks. This is my experience with AGE 20's Signature Intense Full Coverage Foundation Makeup: -Coverage is not heavy unless you use a sponge. I have not used it for heavy coverage. I use my fingers for lighter coverage and it does a good job of coverage, especially where there is discoloration. On those spots, use a little more. -If you want the full 50 SPF, you need to put on more product than less. -Texture is a little unusual--it feels lightweight and moisturizing, then dries down to a soft finish. There is not tackiness on the skin after application. I suggest you set it with a translucent powder. -There is NO creasing in wrinkles or folds of my skin. That is unusual for creamy foundations. -Finish is a soft glow. I have drier skin. I believe it would work for any skin that is not too oily. -I use medium beige. It would be like a lighter medium with a neutral to warm undertone and reminds me of the Lancome Teint Idole 300. If your skin is on the light side, the fair or beige should work. If you have darker skin (a true medium or tan), I would not purchase this product. -The product looks marbled in the compact and swirls together into one shade. I feel like it will adapt to most undertones, except the most cool. -A big bonus is receiving two pans of product in you box. -Packaging is beautiful. The only downside is the compact is thicker than I like to carry for touchups. Overall, this is a very nice foundation. I hope that helps! ... show more

This is a wonderful medium coverage foundation sunscreen that really does make your skin dewy, NOT GREASY! I am in my early 50’s and am starting to struggle with dryness, but hate all the typical brands that make you look like you worked at a fast food joint over the deep fryer all day! Skin is hydrated, pores are covered, and you are protected from the sun in the best possible way. Doesn’t settle into lines and creases either. However the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I ordered a medium beige color, and it’s actually very light, and I will have to wear it in the winter when I’m most pale. I probably need to order the tan one. This is I think a Korean difference with interpreting skin tones. For your reference I am a natural blonde with fairly light skin and green eyes. Runs light, so for example, I am usually light neutral and found Medium beige to be perfect. Good on my dry, mature skin. No primer needed but do moisturize. Really pleased I found this product; it is so good , as well as a bargain!

I love that the make up has spf included, but dislike the fact that is very sheer makeup and not buildable. The more I tried to build it up, the more it would come off. it is worth the price because you receive a "refill" but if you are comfortable with sheer makeup this would definitely be for you.

Applying Sun protection, moisturizer and make up has never been easier. This is an all in one foundation. No wait time and no weird peeling when applying all these products separately. It covers scars, sun spots and it’s perfect for an all day make up. It doesn’t stain clothes if you accidentally get it on your clothes, you can rest assured it’ll come off on the first wash. I like it bc of its dewy finish. Ps- you’re supposed to blend it in circles with the sponge, and then apply on skin. To finish it off, pat on the skin for a thorough coverage. ... show more
