  • Easy to install, noticed immediate improvement with indoor temperatures
I used this product as additional insulation in my 1800's house. Has an R8 factor, I doubled it for an R16 and placed it over the foam insulation board. Since I have true 2x4 studs, I placed 2 2" foam boards for a total of R20, then placed this over top for a total R factor of 36. I am trying to use less heating and cooling and this has definitely made an improvement! I am now slowly retrofitting it into other parts of the house. Love this product! ... show more

  • Worked well as expected
My ex-husband and I used it for the intended purpose and it worked quite well. We also used it when we replaced an oil tank and needed something to give warmth and cushion on a winter temp cement floor and the leftover pieces worked quite well for that.

  • Hvac wrap
Insulate hvac ducts to prevent condensation, easy to work with. They should sell a tape which they recommend

  • Very easy to install, great insulating qualities
I've used this product on three container home builds so far and have been very pleased with the results. It's vertically stable, so you can just run the roll down a wall, secure it in a few spots, then add a second and third course above the first. Then just follow up with a single run of aluminum tape to seal the long seams. Great bang for the buck. ... show more

  • Great for duct work
We wrapped out duct work to keep the air warm/cool and to help decrease any condensation in the summer. We used Nashua Extreme Weather tape to secure it. We wrapped the ducts with the duct wrap without taking the ducts down. It was a lot of work, but the final product is what we wanted. The thickness of this wrap is perfect for tight spaces. The material is very easy to cut but also doesn't rip easily. Glad we found this product. ... show more

  • Easy to use
This is a fine quality insulation for crawl spaces or attics. I recommend it to a majority of my customers.

  • R-value is false advertisement.
When a supplier is claiming that a product is a type of insulation, and this bubble wrap supplier is doing exactly that by listing an R-value in the description, then the advertised R-value for the product must be the R-value of the product alone, not an assembly R-value that includes the R-value of plywood, drywall, or air spaces. This is a principle established in a federal law (16 CFR 460) called the R-value Rule. The R-value Rule applies to manufacturers, retailers, and builders. Exaggerating product R-values is a violation of federal law. The International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) contains a paragraph, titled “R value computation,” that includes the following language: “Computed R-values shall not include an R-value for other building materials or air films.” Calculated by independent studies, this product provides an R value between 1 and 1.1 The R-8 in the product description is extremely misleading and at worst, potentially a violation of federal law. I am writing this review because I purchased this product based on their misleading description. ... show more
