These are a great pair of comfortable cinnamon colored mid-calf boots. I wanted a pair of red booties that fit close to my legs (like sock boots) that I could wear with skinny/straight jeans and skirts. These fit the bill. I am typically a 8.5M in round toe boots and a size 9 in pointed toe boots. I got the 9. They are a half inch too big. I could have purchased the 8.5. I can wear them with thicker socks. The heel height is about 2.75 inches and they have a little 1/4 inch platform. They are quite comfortable. Very little breaking in needed. These boots are perfect. Comfortable & easy to walk in. They were exactly what I wanted, until.....I wore them ONCE and on the toe there's already a spot where the material is coming off.
