  • Sturdy and reliable
Pattern Name: 84" Chicken Coop
The media could not be loaded. I live in NC where my lord the winds can blow a coop right over. When buying this coop you are getting everything you need and more! I purchased to different coops this one and another. They cost about the same the other was more due to shipping. This coop was hands down the best purchase. We will be replacing all of our coops with this company! ... show more

  • Very unsafe!
Pattern Name: 84" Chicken Coop
The only thing good about this coop is that it's really cute! First of all, there's not even a door at the top of the ramp so my husband had to make one. On the wall where the door is there's a huge opening from the wall to the roof! My husband had to cut a triangle piece of wood to basically take the wall up to the roof. Any predator that figured out how to get in the run could either go in where there was no door or just climb over the wall and get right in. Also, there weren't even latches on the nesting boxes so anything could just lift the lid and crawl right in! Raccoons are not stupid! Where the nesting boxes are leaked so rain got in. My husband had to caulk that. One reason I went with this coop is because it has a metal roof and hardware cloth instead of chicken wire. Well, the roof of the boxes leaks and what good is hardware cloth if a predator has multiple ways to get in?! I really hate this coop and wish we would've just built our own! It's cute but that's about it. Oh, it's also very thin wood with paint that would not last long. I painted it as soon as I got it set up. ... show more

  • Falls Apart
Pattern Name: 81" Chicken Coop
The wood is cheap and hinges are not strong enough to handle the job from normal use. I only started using it 3 weeks ago. The ramp hinges came off first, then the door hinges to the nesting area. Finally, last night the entire bottom fell out. It scared my girls so much that I found them huddled in a corner of the run as far away as possible. Don’t bother with this one. It won’t last. ... show more

  • Not bad
Pattern Name: 84" Chicken Coop
It’s not built real strong and sound. But in todays world what is? Not a bad product for the price. Set up very easy to clean!

  • Cheaply made
Pattern Name: 84" Chicken Coop
It works for quail , I wouldn’t put chickens in it. We had to re apply glue on several small boards that had fallen apart and the wire isn’t attached everywhere like it should be.

  • After 11 months of ownership I feel as if i can finally write this....
Pattern Name: 84" Chicken Coop
I was one of the first people to purchase this item when it came to market. I paid the original MSRP of $500 which looking at the pictures seemed worth it, but boy was I wrong. When it arrived the assembly wasn't terrible because I am mechanically inclined but to the "normal person" the instructions weren't great. The nesting boxes come with no locking hardware so any predator could easily access the coop with no problem so I had to source that myself. Now fast forward 11 months of Northeast ownership I have developed 2 spots of rot on the wood panels. So like any normal person, I contacted the seller because it stated the item had a 1-year warranty, but once I sent the message I was then contacted by I guess someone who worked at the company and they told me that they stopped making parts for the coop I own and changed to a different manufacture so my coop is not under any kind of warranty because they "don't make it anymore." They said the best they could do was refund me $10 for some glue and wood chips to hopefully slow the rot in the wood. They blamed it rotting because I did not take proper care of the coop and repaint it every 4 months. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this no matter what the circumstance is. Either build your own or purchase a coop from a tractor supply but do not waste your time and money on this junk. ... show more
