After a rough start due to inconsiderate FedX handling - they delivered a day early and blocked access to my front door - I am very happy with this AECOJOY 8' x 6' Metal Storage Shed. It was somewhat time-consuming to assemble, but the instructions are well written and the parts are marked making them easy to match up correctly. It does NOT come with a floor, but does include hardware for a floor so we built one with plywood and 2x2 runners to make it level and sturdy - about $70 for the materials. I painted using left-over Sherwin Williams Deck and Dock paint (color is mineral gray). Since putting it up, we've had several days of steady rain and interior has stayed dry. I'm pleased and recommend it! For size comparison, my fence is 6' - the shed is 8 x 6, interior floor measures about 7 x 5 - 3/4. ... show more

The assembly of the shed was actually pretty easy and straight forward. Took a couple days on and off. The foundation is what took the longest. But I am definitely concerned if it makes it past one hurricane season here in Florida. The metal is very thin. The screws don’t bite very well, anywhere. I did some extra reinforcing in some places that I felt needed it with better hardware. The roof supports are sturdy and thicker metal. The door lock system leaves a lot to be desired. Overall for the price point I guess it’s ok. Hard to find quality anymore for a deal. If I had to do it again I would have bought better quality, but it gets the job done for sure. Completely assembled, it feels sturdy overall. But we just had Hurricane Milton and I don’t see it surviving that at all. Another thing that bugged me is it is advertised as a 10x14. But it’s not. It’s quite a bit less actually around 9ft. So I basically bought too much material for the foundation and it hindered my plans for a few things. It’s also not tall at all. It took quite a few hours to assemble by myself. Highly recommend having someone to help at least hold it up especially when you get to the top portion of the frame ready to mount. It’s a little flimsy but overall great for the price. I would definitely recommend as a little tool shed. I fit a small bamboo shelf, a push mower, wheelbarrow, two pump sprayers, a weed eater, a hedge trimmer and a leaf blower inside with no issue. Added a rack i bought from Lowe’s so I could hang up my shovel and rake. The item arrived bent but was easy to bend back because it is cheap metal. The directions are horrible. It took 3 people 4 hours to get the product bent back and put halfway together. Then the slight breeze sent the walls crashing down. I then gave up. I contacted the seller because the item was damaged when I first got it and isn't the sturdy-looking product they advertised in the picture. I was told I could do a return. I printed out the return receipt, repackaged the shed, and loaded the 98LB shed into my SUV. Then I looked at the shipping instructions. They wanted me to pay the shipping on this 98lb box of crap to get my money back. AVOID THIS SELLER !!!!!! Better off just going to Home Depot or Lowes and getting a small lawn mower shed. Again this is my worst experience with AMAZON sellers. This issue is still ongoing and I have yet to receive a refund. Update Nov 2023. After working with the seller and Amazon they say they will get me part of a refund if I ship the item back to them and provide postage. The package is too large for FEDEX or USPS so you have to ship UPS. The shipping cost to return the package is more than the cheap shed is worth. So you get screwed out of your money because it doesn't make sense to ship it back if you are paying $200+ for shipping just to get part of your $150 back for the shed. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SELLER !!!!! ... show more

Oddly really good shed for the price. Survived a hurricane already lol make sure to wear gloves when putting it together though. Replaced a few of the screws provided for some more heavy duty self tappers

Not bad for the price but like everyone else, assembly was weird. The instruction will tell you one thing and before you know it, you’re backwards on something. The screw choice was my biggest complaint. When assembling anything sheet metal that requires a drill, why they chose Phillips screws is beyond me. Hex head screws are about the same price and they are more effective. Metal is thin, so make sure you wear gloves, learned that the hard way. Holes don’t line up, so be prepared to fabricate something with self tapping screws or a drill bit so it will all sit flush. Over all a decent product for what you pay, just some minor details I think would make this a better deal. ... show more

Order this shed it got here within 2 days, no problems with shipping, installation was super easy installed it by myself had it done in under one day, had help for two small parts where I needed someone to hold the other side, or put the nut on the bolt thru the center screws but other than that I did this all myself it was super easy and instructions made plenty of sense, easy to understand ... show more
