I was much more impressed than I thought I would be! Metal rakes at the store are at least $30+, so I though I would take a chance ce with this one since it was such good price. It works great! You just screw the pieces together and you can adjust the width of the rake. My only complaint is sometimes it gets a little loose at the connection points while you rake. However, it's not terribly frequent if you screw it together tight enough, and to me it does not take away enough from such a good deal. ... show more

Recently got to try it on a trip: surprisingly sturdy when assembled and fully spread out. Too heavy and indulgent for a hiking pack or bugout bag. I'm 6'2 and the length is great for use without stooping. Fits a back pack but could use its own case or bag. All in all, I'm please with the purchase.

This thing is a lot sturdier than I expected. Good strong tines. Easy to put together and take apart. Favorite part is you can adjust not only the length but the width of the tines. So it's great to get between small spaces or even rake gravel and acorns. It doesn't open super wide but plenty enough to clean up your camping area. Im a strong man and i couldn't even pull it apart after putting it together, didnt realize you had to twist it off, it just snapped on so easy i though it wouldn't hold. Going to use to clear and level the ground under tent sites.
