I use this on the bottom of ceramic vases to keep them from scratching or leaving marks; I put it on the bottom of my stainless steel compost bucket so it won't scratch my kitchen countertop; I put it on the outside of the handles of a hall closet so that when they open they won't leave marks on the walls; I put it on the bottom of anything that may scratch or leave marks on walls, counters or display cases.
