This is a nice looking, basic little ottoman. I like the cream fabric with script to match with a solid color chair. The storage area seems like it will be useful for storing a few things and the hinges on the lid seem sturdy. If you want to use the legs, be aware that it's not intuitive which way they are intended to face and how far to tighten them. I'm using it without the legs, as the chair I use it with is on the small side, so this wasn't an issue for me. The fabric off-gassed a bit for a day and there's now no odor. The top doesn't have a lot of padding, but feels comfortable when I rest my legs on it. None of minor things was enough for me to knock a star off, though. ... show more

We purchased these to replace an ottoman in the living room that the dogs claws destroyed. Came out of the box just fine and it was really easy to assemble. just screw the legs into place and you are good to go.
