As a former writer of technical manuals, I find myself to be a skillful interpreter of them as well. This is useful if you enjoy assembling things from kits, and it’s especially true if illustrations are being used to substitute for words. The manual for this kit is a good example. The manual does a very good job identifying parts with pictures and alpha-numeric names and part numbers. Assembly is described quite clearly without words if you look at the pictures carefully and take your time. (There are no extra points for finishing quickly.) I examined the manual’s contents one evening just to get an idea of how things would proceed during the next day’s actual assembly. The next day I emptied the two boxes (which had arrived on the same day), and began to notice the differences between the panels and the other hardware (screws and such). After identifying everything in the kit, I began assembling it BY MYSELF! Two hours later I put away the Phillips screwdriver (which was included in the kit) and moved my completed shed to its new location. It had gone together without a hiccup, and it was now the home for my lawnmower and other gardening tools. I highly recommend this shed for both the quality of the materials used and for the clarity of the assembly manual. ... show more

This is a great shed for our small yard. It can hold most gardening tools and other clutter (e.g., BBQ gas cylinders and lawn chairs), although it is not quite large enough to hold a full-size rake (I just remove the handle). The company is very responsive and easy to work with.

I bought this to put pool supplies in it. Perfect size. Really easy to put together overall, I put together by myself, great instructions Negative things are: doesn't come with any shelves; the shelves they recommend to purchase with the cabinet didn't even fit. they were 6" too small. So I had to return them. 2nd issue was 3 of the screws did not line up with the holes and I couldn't get them in very well so that part is not real sturdy. I would recommend the unit. ... show more

This all started with a typical worst-case scenario... I ordered this late, and it took longer than anticipated to fulfill the order - then it was damaged in shipment (never received). This just felt like one of those bad luck stories. However, I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and re-sent the items. The items were well packaged, the instructions were clear, and the hardware kit provided an actual screwdriver and extra hardware! I put it together in 20 minutes, needing only 30 seconds of assistance from my wife to hold in brackets while I secured it from the other side of the panel. After painting my house, I decided that I could not put the old worn storage cabinet back on my deck. I wanted something that was larger with a shelf. This storage unit was perfect for my needs and really made the deck look nice. The cabinet is highly functional with two positions for the shelf; or you can put two shelves in. The big question is whether or not this product will withstand the test of time re durability and sturdiness. On the surface, it seems that the materials used to construct the sides/top/bottom are all pretty sturdy, but the bolts, screws, and latches used to attach things seem pretty flimsy. These are the things I worry about. And don't bother buying this product if you to secure your belongings in them because the latches are so weak that a single kick to the doors will pop out all the screws that hold the latches -- the screws are tiny ones, screwed into plastic. I bought two of these lockers. I must admit that they were easy to assemble, and the instructions are clear and well written. I had to have my wife help me for a couple of things where I needed a second pair of hands to hold things like the latches in place on the outside when I crawled inside to screw them to the body of the locker. But other than that, everything was easy to assemble. And the product is not too heavy, so I was able to turn it on its side on over upside down, to make putting in the attaching bolts and screws easier. The first locker that I assembled; all parts fit together perfectly with no manufacturing errors in tolerance regarding fit. I was pretty amazed! But the second locker had a few problems; nothing super serious but problems, nonetheless. One bolt hole for one plastic bolt did not line-up properly. This was a manufacturing defect (one out of nine bolt holes). Not a big thing since I just used my drill and replaced the plastic bolt with a metal bolt and nut (I drilled right thru the unit's wall to use the bolt and nut). The other issues were that the tabs for using a padlock to lock the storage unit did not line up correctly. Again, no biggie since I don't plan to lock the locker since locking it would be silly since anyone can just kick the locker door and all the latch screws would pop out anyway. So, in conclusion, I think that product is pretty good, and looks very nice, especially if you are only going to store your gardening supplies or tools in your own backyard. But its durability re the material used to construct the sidings, and the durability of the hinges and latches will only be determined over time. ... show more

WE BOUGHT THIS TO HOLD OUR PATIO CUSHIONS. WE ARE HAPPY ITS ALMOST AS TALL AS OUR FENCE. I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT ABOUT 6 INCHES WIDER, BUT SO FAR WE ARE VERY PLEASED. MY HANDYMAN PUT IT TOGETHER IN AN HOUR. LIKE THE FACT THAT IT CAN BE LOCKED, ALTHOUGH WE WONT JUST CAUSE IT'S HOLDING CUSHIONS. THX!!!
