    • Something was missing from instructions
I know I may be dumb when it comes to assembling items that should be a "no brainer" project, but........................ the instructions did not say to take the little plastic collars off of the poles that are screwed into, so one was left off and it went together perfectly, so I proceeded to take off the other three, should have mentioned this in the instructions, could have still been trying like heck to screw these poles together !!!!!! ... show more

I wanted a pair of simple, inexpensive floor lamps which could serve multiple purposes, and I didn't care much about stylishness. This was the lamp I settled on after a bit of hunting around. I am thoroughly happy with my choice. The assembly instructions weren't complete. It was a few week ago now so I don't remember exactly the issue, but others have referred to it. One reviewer wrote "with this lamp assembly, first you have to remove the black plastic ring from one end of the pole (don't use a screwdriver, use your thumb), then the poles easily screw together. Should have included that it the assembly instructions'', Another wrote, "the instructions did not say to take the little plastic collars off of the poles that are screwed into''. I also didn't know when I bought these lamps that the bulbs are not replaceable. But since they're LED, I'm hoping they'll last a very long time. All in all, I think these are definitely worth the money. ... show more

    • Bulb is not replaceable
The first lamp was unable to assemble. The replacement came promptly, assembly went as instructed. The upright sections had a couple of deep scratches, fixed with flat black paint. The controls work as advertised, with your choice of light tone and brightness. I was surprised to find out that the bulb is not replaceable; so that means once the bulb burns out, the whole lamp gets to go to the dump. Wasteful. Could not find how long the bulbs last. ... show more

This is a convenient, adjustable light source for reading or as a task light. I have it in my sewing room where I also retreat sometimes to just read. The adjustable arm is excellent to get the light to where you need it. It is not an "Osram" but for the price gives a very excellent light. One plus: the subtle light of the on/off button makes a very nice night light when going into a darkened room. ... show more

I’m really bad at visualizing things, so I like reading the reviews. Even still, this was smaller than I was expecting because my bed is quite tall. I was expecting the weird pieces I needed to remove in order to assemble because another reviewer mentioned them, but I didn’t know what they looked like. I included a picture here. I used this wonderful lamp to put some light in a dark living room. It's versatile and easy to assemble. I love it, it is also very light weight. It can be gifted, too. For the college student, the worker from home, an office at home or at work! I really enjoy this. You will too!
