This stuff works great with minimal scrubbing. The photos are of one of the better wheels. Wish I had taken a picture of the front wheels which were much worse. It brought them back to a like new shine. For really dirty wheels, two applications were required to get all of the brake dust and grime off. It also worked well on running boards that had a seemingly permanent yellowish appearance to them. One application, a bit of soak time and they came out almost ew looking as well. I agree, not the most pleasant smelling solution out there, but when it comes to cutting tough grease and grim from a car’s wheel, I care more about how effective the product is at cleaning. As a rim cleaner it works well. I'm not sure if its much better than Adams Wheel and Tire cleaner I'll need to compare it some more. The Adams Wheel and Tire cleaner works well on both rims and tires. It does what it says it doesn't claim to clean tires so there's no issue. You will need to clean your tires with another cleaner. That's too time consuming and expensive for regular cleaning. If it does prove to be much better for rims I'll use it when needed. ... show more

I have a '15 Passat TDI which I had since new. I kept the wheels clean using Simple Green which removes the break dust, grime and dirt. However, I've had this consistent and worsening yellowing going on that nothing seemed to remove. Even a dishwashing pad couldn't touch it. But Adam's Wheel Cleaner did it! I recommend using a regular wheel cleaner or Simple Green to remove the surface dirt but then using Adam's Wheel Cleaner to remove the embedded stuff. It was shocking to see how much more cleaner they were after using Adam's. ... show more
