Directions: Clean ears to remove built-up wax and dirt. While firmly holding pet, fill ear canal with labeled number of drops in each ear. Massage base of ear to insure insecticidal action penetrates ear wax. Gently dry ear with a cotton ball, soft cloth, or cotton swab. This product may be applied daily for 7 to 10 days. Repeat treatment in two weeks if necessary. While trying to put drops in my cat's ear the top flew off and got it all over my cat's face. The great thing is that the ingredients didn't seem to be harmful. I did ask for a replacement and I will probably use a dropper next time. I haven't seen my cat shake his head so I guess that it did work.

I've been putting this in my cat's ears for a month now. It says 5 to 7 days, but after the seven day mark, when I stopped the air, mites came back and so I had to do another seven days. They keep coming back. It seems to be less each time, but it is taking forever.

    • Worked for my cat, but take caution when using this.
My cat started developing severely soiled ears and was constantly scratching his ears, making his ears swell and bleed. Searching about symptoms online, I found out that it's either ear mite or bacterial infection. This type of treatment would work on ear mites, but I've read many stories online that it wouldn't work on bacterial infection, and could possibly make the situation worse. I've also read that some cats are allergic to this type of treatment, so before I fully commit to it, I decided to test it out. I applied a small amount of it (1 or 2 drops) behind my cat's neck and waited few hours to see if he started having an allergic reaction. And when I was sure that he's not allergic to it, I decided to drop a fraction of directed dose (1 drop instead of 5) in his ears and then waited few hours to see if it gets worse. And when I was sure it wasn't getting worse, I then went ahead with full dose for several days, and within few days he stopped scratching his ears. Now he's happy, way less anxious and much more relaxed. It's so great to see him actually able to sleep without waking up every 10 minutes frantically scratching his ears. This item happened to work really well for my cat, but as I mentioned, there seem to be some cats that are allergic to this type of treatment, and also the same symptom can be caused by bacterial infection, so it's always advised to get your pet checked up by a veterinarian. ... show more

Dont ever buy this product. I honestly don't even know how they're allowed to sell it. I had to call poison control because it poisoned my cat. My pet was throwing up non stop for days due to this medication. STAY AWAY. It sucks and I know youre trying to save money but youll end up spending more not getting the right medication from the vet. ... show more
