I wore the boots in my house for two days here and there “break them In” but it really wasn’t necessary. My feet weren’t destroyed and blistered after a long 8 hour shift. The only concern I have with this boot is that the sole stitching stops mid point on the boot. Which worries me about sticking the heel in tree crotches on a daily basis. While I haven't had the boots long, they are what I had been looking for, an unlined logger. The leather is soft, were comfortable the second time wearing them (oiled them the night before putting them on). The sizing seems to be a touch smaller than my Carolinas but not uncomfortable, 11.5 Wide in both. Also lack a pull tab at back of boot to help pull them on but isn't a deal breaker. I was originally told that I would receive my refund when they receive the item, now I am being told I will receive it on the 20th, they received it on the 12th. For context, I am a landscaper. Boots seem alright. Been using for almost a month now. Definitely painful to break in. But after that, they feel pretty good. Highly recommend new insoles. Not exactly critical to the performance of the boot but two of the hook eyelets have already fallen out within just a few weeks of use. Slightly disappointing.
