  • It's the perfect size for it's intended purpose
Size: Gen 1
It's not that small how people say it is. It's the perfect size for it's intended purpose. You don't want to carry a travel backpack the size of a tent on your back and that is why this serve the best purpose that it does. The tripod is smaller of course, but I don't think it would be a problem for my heavier tripod version and a bit of a lengthy version as it is. It will still hold it in place with the dual straps that it has. You guys have to realize that a product has to deliver many things for customer satisfaction: 1. Operate for all types of customers--body types, hobbies, travel, hike, compartment, clean, color, organization, safety, comfort, and I can go list more things. 2. Serve the Purpose it was designed for. Does it? Of course! It organizes items well, it lets you actually place the dividers inside according to the way you want to structure your placement, it can also be removed if you are not an organized person and just want to clob everything inside which I don't recommend. There's also safety straps for your abdomen to help you hold the backpack fluidly and not let it jump around which is a very good safety thing and helps you to keep your back straight when hiking or traveling for photography or whatever the task maybe. There's a lot of compartments inside to store more things, like memory cards and even water bottles if you wanted to save space for it. There's more than enough room in the backpack to place your camera and camera gear inside. You can also attach your camera bag towards one of the side of the backpack if you like it and want to take with you to save space. This backpack is truly amazing. The people tripping about it are probably just trolling or want to have a little tiny robotic cube transform into some highly fashioned Lamborghini. This isn't transformers, this is a backpack, it's not gonna turn into a camping tent for you. Stop desiring something that you can't even design or imagine, don't pollute your mind with some digital things you've seen and expect it everywhere you shop. Be happy with what you have and be thankful that you have it. Good luck guys! ... show more

  • Wonderful bag...lots of room and very comfy to carry!
Size: Gen 1
I am so glad I ran across this camera bag and even happier that I purchased it. With everything I carry now, my other bag wouldn't hold it all. Now since I've used this bad, I can give my honest opinion. First look out of box, it looked great and kind of fancy. The brand name Acuvar is across the back in heavy rubber and bright blue colors. All the zippers are heavy duty and are also covered with rubber. After opening the main compartment, I was relieved to see all the room! There are lots of pockets as well, with easy opening. There is also a large pocket outside the main compartment, which looks like it would hold a tablet or a smaller laptop. This is a zippered. There are pockets on the side...actually seems like there are pockets everywhere. After I put in my camera equipment, I still had so much room left. Carrying it around on my back is also comfortable. Not only are there the two large straps that go on the back, but one to go around your waist which keeps it feeling more comfy and secure and another one that goes around the chest to hold the straps on your shoulders. These straps don't have to be worn, but I enjoy the comfort. All zippers zip and unzip very easily and there is also a rain bag that is attached under the bag in its own compartment. It has elastic around it so you just stretch it open and over the bag. So basically I'm just very happy with my purchase. AND, best yet there was a typed note from the president of this company along with his email in case they are any problems and insures 100% satisfaction. Its nice to know that some companies still care about their product satisfaction!! Thank you! ... show more

  • Nice bag for the price, very roomy!
Size: Gen 1
Nice and roomy. Love the blue interior. Padding seems adequate though I can see how it might deteriorate over time or get squashed. Only time will tell. Also the velcro that holds the dividers in place could be stronger. Keep in mind that if you are wearing this like a normal backpack you need to think about what goes where as everything will be stacked on top of each other, so the heavier items like the camera itself, should be on the "bottom" of the pack, then the heavier lenses, etc. There are several large compartments outside of the main compartment for storing all of your goodies. Since I haven't had this very long it's hard to rate it's durability, but the seller is already pestering me to leave a review so here it is. Mine has no broken zippers or pull tabs, no bad seams, etc. It's in perfect condition. I may update this review in a month or 2 with any additional insights but so far so good. ... show more

  • Better than my big brand name photo backpack at a fraction of the cost
Size: Gen 1
This is a very solid backpack for the cost, with versatile features. My field camera gear fits nicely, and is easy to access, and the interior pockets are good for field guides, filters, etc. The rain hood is also a nice extra. Overall, the pack is lightweight but sturdy. I am currently doing a fair amount of hiking/landscape/waterfall photography, and this gets the job done nicely without breaking my back or my budget. My only (very minor) quibble is the straps for the tripod holder. As someone else pointed out, they won't stretch around the whole tripod, so they need to be threaded through the legs. Also, as they are not physically attached to the backpack, they are easy to lose out in the field, as I have already done with one of them. No worry though, I picked up an inexpensive set on Amazon to use as longer replacements. ... show more

  • Lots of pocket space
Size: Gen 1
I bought this bag because I like the look, and the fact that it has extra pockets that my old bag does not have, when I received it yesterday I was not disappointed. The bag has more pockets than I expected, and I was able to fit everything inside with extra room for more equipment if needed. The only downside is I won’t be able to use the chest or waist straps since they are too small for my weight and build, but other than that, the bag itself is wonderful, and I can’t wait to go on my next adventure, so I can get some proper use out of it. ... show more
