  • It does what I wanted it to do.

  • They look great cheaply but Made in China
I could not open or close them easily because they were not square. The frame was not square, but the door was, so I needed to bend them with pliers to make them able to open and close.

  • It is a little larger than 12”, so make sure you measure it before placing the studs in place.
Well constructed. It arrived with a corner a litle bent, but was an easy fix. Will be installed in a drop ceiling as an access door to power supplies.

  • Very sturdy
Work perfect for the application I needn’t for

  • Door won't drop open once installed - frame out of square
The door on this access panel would not drop open because the frame was slightly out of square and one corner of the door was jammed against the frame. Once the door is closed there's no way to get ahold of it to pull it open. It was too late to return the item, so I bent down the flange on one side of the door to make it clear the frame. Neither a plastic hammer nor a urethane dead blow hammer would move the flange, so I had to resort to a steel hammer. That damaged the paint. ... show more
