This panel is solidly made of strong steel, with an excellent white paint finish. I'm very pleased with it; however, I wish it came with a small knob on the latch mechanism so you didn't have to keep a screwdriver handy to open it (I used it to access a indoor water cutoff valve that feeds an outdoor hose bib, so it's inconvenient to open and close). ... show more

    • Easiest way to a portable air conditioning port.
Bought these to allow portable air conditioner to use thru the wall termination as the windows are too wide and the storm windows will not allow a window shaker style . I tried the 6" by 6" but too small - need the 8" by 8" to properly place the cone from air conditioner itself.

Good design, but would be better if they included a knob or handle to open. Very hard to open once closed. Flat head needed to open. I drilled a whole and added a threaded knob from Home Depot.
