ACT mouthwash tastes very minty and fresh without being sickly sweet. It's a good balance. My wife doesn't prefer mouthwash with alcohol, so she doesn't especially like this but I don't mind alcohol in my mouthwash (gives it some punch! ha ha.) This product contains fluoride AND whitener. I was trying to find an alternative whitening method without needing to do strips or go out of my way to do some office treatments either. I decided with this mouthwash. I really really really like it already. I don’t use this morning and night like I should but even so, when I use it just a few days, I can tell a subtle difference, it’s almost like a mind trick which I’m sure if you took daily pictures then it would be obvious but I’d rather not try to watch a pot of water boil, cause then the process would feel like it’s taking longer than expected. I’m sure if I used this mouthwash twice a day every day, I would see even more results. The taste is still refreshing though, no issues there and there’s no issues with the fluoride either as I know some are concerned with that, but I’ve had no problems at all. I have always had a problem with stain building up on my bottom front teeth. My dentist and I had ruled out all the possible causes and settled on the fact that some folks just have more stain buildup than others. I have tried multiple different mouthwashes in an attempt to reduce the stain. This one does an amazing job! My dentist and I can both tell a difference on my teeth. I like ACT. It has a peroxide base (whitening and germ killing). The flavor is refreshing and not over powering at all. It dries the mouth somewhat, but not like alcohol based rinses.

I'm not sure if it's whitening at all. I drink a lot of coffee and I am careful to not drink for more than 30 minutes being mindful of the effects of PH balance, and I'm careful to swish with fresh water or this whitening mouth wash directly after, but I don't see a difference after 10 days of using this at least 2x per day, and after some coffee drinks, in a row. I'll keep using it until the package is complete but I can get a bottle on the equivalent ACT non-whitening non-alcoholic mouthwash that is at least 2x larger from walmart for the same price as this. If this was whitening, I would not mind - but the value just doesn't seem to be there. ... show more
