The steps are too small width wise, made for miniature people, they are also recessed to far into the each other and the bar meaning only a few inches of the already small steps are even usable at all because your shin either hits the step above or it or the bar on top. The top step is the worst, the bar is extended so far over the step you're basically trying to balance on an inch. It is totally useless. My wife is a member of the hobbit tribe and has quite a hard time reaching things in the upper cabinet in our kitchen. This step stool has given her the ability to do what she needs when she needs to do it without the annoyance (hers not mine) of needing to request my assistance. It folds up small enough to slide between our kitchen counter and the fridge and is sturdy enough to hold me (6'9" 300#s) if I should need it. This step stool is just ok. It is not very sturdy and wobbles even at the second step. I won’t stand on the third. Also, the handle is quite low and doesn’t help climb up to the third step.
