These paint pens are great. I've only used them for journaling and I love the way they write. I especially love the selection of colors!! They are easy to use and write across most surfaces in my journals like plastic, paint, paper, slick or not slick surface. My white pen gummed up or clogged pretty quick, but it's the only one to do so. I also don't appreciate that each pen comes in plastic as well as the box being wrapped in plastic. I’ve used countless brands now of both oil-based and acrylic-based paint markers. These are decent. The colors are somewhat lacking. They appear to have a huge variety, but several of the “light” and “dark” shades are almost identical. Additionally, the tips do seem to dry out frequently. Thankfully, I came to realize that you can dip the tips of acrylic-based markers in water, and it moistens them back up again. I am really happy with these pens and excited to use them! I keep a financial journal and they will be perfect for that. The packaging is durable, snaps closed, and makes it easy to keep the pens organized versus having them end up everywhere in a drawer or a pen jar. The color variety is GREAT! I bought these for kids rock painting but would recommend them for adult crafting because of the detail you're able to create due to the strong fine tip. The paint is a little thin for some of the rock painting we did. It would have been better if we'd put a primer on the rocks first. Just the same, I was able to make some detailed brightly colored designs straight onto the rocks. Highly recommend for kids and adults. ... show more

These markers are bright n juicy to work with. The work like any other paint pen, you hold the tip down until the paint runs to the tip. It writes nicely on paper and polyester. I personalized my daughters beach chair n all of my children's sippy cups. The tip had a nice bold point so it can really stand out. There is a metallic silver & gold marker n flat rainbow variety.
