This is a good nail set for beginners trying acrylic like me. The first thing I noticed was that its very small...unlike the picture it looks bigger. My brushes were stiff when i took them out the packaging so make sure to fiddle with them a bit to soften them up. When I first used the acrylic powders and liquid the smell of the monomer was fierce! It had my home smelling like a nail shop. When i was finished it was very difficult to remove the leftover acrylic stuff off my brush. But overall it was fun to try and the little black nail guide things didnt work idk why.. ... show more

Does it work? Yes. Does it smell? Yes it’s a chemical. Does it smell smell? Oh yeah!! You need a fan while applying it or else BIG headache (since you are so close to nails applying it) - while applying it, don’t do it quickly or else it’s liquidy, give it like 2-5 seconds. While applying, push and move it, avoid painting it on. Try not to get it on your skin, it hardens so yeah. A little goes a long way so this size is fine for like 3-5 months depending on how often you use it. ☺️ ... show more

my whole house smelled like monomer, and i didn't even open the AMAZON PACKAGE! yet. there was three more layers and the monomer smell was seeping through. and the acrylic never dried. worst set ever. DO NOT BUY!! I'm serious you will regret it.
