So I’ve been seeing this dress everywhere and especially on curvy ladies and they are killing it in this dress! So I decided to bite the bullet and buy it & try for myself. My recommended size was XL, since I’ve been losing weight I went with it instead of going up a size or 2 like usual. Well, I should have gone with my size up gut. If you are pretty busty like I am (40J cup here) then I’d re think this dress. One the bust of the dress is high, which alright fine it’s a body con dress. But the one I got was so small I could barely fit my head in it! Once I got it on, that bust was sooo tiny, the bottom of my breasts were hanging out, which hey if you want that look go for it, but I was thinking I’d hang out with my family & friends for a party in this dress so not for me. 2, lawd have mercy was it thin! The really light purple/almost gray was so light on me you could see every detail of my breasts from 5 feet away! I saw some pictures so I was thinking it may happen but was going not. And 3rd, ugh the skirt was sooo short, like barely covering my bikini underwear short. Wtf? All the other pictures I’ve seen, the dress is a decent length. Not to mention the asymmetrical hem was totally off & sideways? And last the fabric is super itchy! I mean my chest was still itching hours after I had tried it on, Is my skin super sensitive but for $30 + you’d think it would be better made. And when you buy a body con you hope the material will be a little thick & with a nice soft stretch. But this dress was disappointing all around for me. Should I have gone with a size up? Possibly. But I fear the super thinness of the fabric & the scratchy feel would still be there. So this was a fail for me and I won’t be exchanging for a different size or color like I was considering. And it’s back to the dress search! Oh well, the ombré colors was really pretty! And on others is looks amazing. So idk if the company shipping it out for lazy with the cutting of my dress but definitely beware that you may end up with a lemon like I did. ... show more

This dress I bought in a small. The material is soft and fills amazing on your skin and the material is thin enough that on a hot day you definitely stay pretty cool. Even though the material is thin, it is Not made from cheap material and you will have this dress in your closet for a long time. This dress is very comfortable and sexy so definitely best of both worlds. You can, dress it up with the perfect sun hat, bracelet, anklet, and sandals, and it looks just as stunning with a rockin blue jean jacket. ... show more

I love, love, love this dress (the black one, not sure about the other colors, it’s very common with Amazon’s clothing that the fabric changes with the colors). Now, quite a few reviews say to size down, don’t, they are really true to size. Also, the top part (where the opening starts for the mid section) does but doesn’t have stretch. The are where your breast are, does have some stretch but the part that goes by your rib area, doesn’t. If you are (top) wider than the average this is a 50/50 chance it will fit, maybe a size up will help. I’m squared body so I am almost too wide in that area, but just wide enough where it’s a that “50/50 chance it will fit”. I bought a medium but I am usually a size large and it was just a tad bit too tight at the top (some reviews said to size down so I did). I am returning it and getting a large, I know it will fit perfect. I am actually ordering the large when I’m done with this review. I am 165 lbs., 5’0”, 36B, this is my first dress purchase since losing 20 lbs so I’m pretty excited to wear this! About the quality/material, the right size matters, it stretches for you but doesn’t mean you should stretch it to its max. The fabric is great and pretty thick, I wouldn’t say super thick I would say like a “good quality t-shirt” thick. The front design was perfect!!! A little skin showing with some camouflage!!! My pouch belly disappeared!!! I’m square bodied - and this gave me a little shape - - - without shapewear!!! The length was perfect for me (but I’m also on the shorter side). It was not too long and not too short. Can wear to a family event or for a night out. Before I forget! It came without any tags, and I mean, none, at all.
