People forget to change their spark plugs. Once you take the old ones out you will most likely find they are not gaped correctly. You put these in, make sure you gap them to factory and you will see how much this improves the sound and the power. Just something that has to be done. Bought these for my 2008 5.3, And they work great. Pre-gapped so just throw them right in. Have patience as Cylinder 8 spark plug is seemingly impossible to access. I ended up going from underneath and putting a 3/4 socket on the end of my spark plug socket and still had a rough time.

Although my suburban was running good, I thought it was time to replace the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Good thing I did, the engine performed noticeably better.

These went right in and engine started right up with no issues. Only gave 4 stars since I had to gap all of them to .40 as they were all pregapped at .50. Annoying given that they were supposed to be correctly gapped out of the box.

Doing plugs, wires and coils made the job 75% easier as the easiest way to get the rear plugs out is to remove the coils bracket. That coupled with not having to worry about ruining a wire pulling it off is well worth the money to avoid aggravation. Look at it like this, if you were to pay a garage to do just plugs, it would come up to more than the plugs, wires and coils combined and nobody cares more about doing the job right than you, the owner. Stay with AC Delco, and you can't go wrong. My car had 82,000 miles and still had the plugs, wires and coils it had new. Now, it is ready for another 80,000 miles. ... show more
