I didn't really like this. In mine the spring wasn't that strong or the design is flawed but when you push it open to throw garbage, it doesn't close all the way (until you attempt to slam it shut !) I really love the trash can. It's cute, feels well made, and I like how it clamps onto the door to stay out of the way, and that it came with little trash bags. Unfortunately, for shorties like me who have to have the seat very forward to drive, it can't hang on the driver door because there is not enough space for it to fit between the seat and the closed door. I measured off the descriptions of several car trash bins before getting this one. This one should have fit based on the posting, and it sure enough did! I had seen so many people say it didn't fit their car...so I'm thinking they just guessed, rather than actually measuring. My car is a 2022 Chevy Equinox, and this little baby fits perfectly inside the door panel! It is small, but you can't expect something big to fit in a small space. I love that it comes with some garbage bags that fit it, as I often need to discard my tea bags in the car, so the bags hold in any leftover water from them, without messing up the inside of the bin.
